On another serious note collins made some offensive moves that blew me away! He had 2 size up shots he hit confidently over KD! One where he put the ball on the floor bit and pulled a mid range fader!....IF Collins can do that consistently....MAN...yeah he’s going to be a max player without question! I mean that on top of what he already does great will make him the unquestionable second best scorer on this team and top 10 big man scorer in the league.

 

Defense was better overall for the whole team. Really loved Traes effort to contest shots vs Harris tonight as well.

That wasn’t JCs best scoring game but I’m blown away with some of the offensive moves JC had. Looks like he has things in his skillset we haven’t seen yet enough 

I'm way more impressed with his improvement on defense.  That's what's going to get him paid. He even had some good D on Kyrie and Durant.

He's always had those moves in his arsenal though.  I loved the fact that he was not afraid to go at KD.

Ballin... Trae was off but not an issue. Hunters scoring nullified KDs points. On an off night, Trae still outscored Kyrie.

Hunter again solid as all hell. Cam in the 4th showed up.  So much scoring available to us and we were missing 1/3rd of this team. We are quite scary to play for opponents! Wonderful to watch this team! In Schlenk I trust!

I was watching the Nets streaming broadcast.  And they mentioned how the Nets bigs have to step to the guy driving in the paint.  They never said Jordan's name, but they were definitely talking about him.

I feel like Miami played possum during the regular season. They had good and bad stretches all season long, but really stepped it up a notch in the playoffs. 

I think we have too much to prove to ourselves and others that we can't just turn it on at the end if the year. We are really trying to establish a winning mentality and culture. Miami already had it and knew that they had it. We are building it from scratch.

Thus, I foresee way more regular season effort, and overachieving along the way.

Let me get this straight. One of the favorites to compete for the Eastern Conference got their collective a$$es kicked sideways on their home court by some young upstarts, whose star player only hit a third of his shots? 

And I loved listening to Nets' analysts cry the blues after a 'go home/it's now okay to watch the Ohio State game' alley oop dunk off the backboard. If Kyrie had set up Durant for such a play in a blowout win, every sports outlet would be replaying it tonight while laughing at the Hawks for not being ready for prime time.

This was one of the first true tests they've faced, in terms of how they'd respond after a hard luck loss. In previous years, this is a 114-96 game going the other way because they'd take the close loss the other day as a moral victory before mail it in tonight. They passed with flying colors. 

The next test is Cleveland tomorrow. Follow up tonight with another win...

Hunter really impressed me tonight. We could of hit on both him and Cam. The scary thing about this game is I don't even think we are at our ceiling. Dunn/Gallo/Okongwu haven't even really played for us yet.
