It should me mid 3's but they all should come in the 4th like now. His 3 point shooting is plummeting also because of his poor shot selection. He is basically the same as last year in both categories even after an amazing game 1

Okay, so 3.5 - 3.8.  So down about one turnover from last year.  What turnover percentage are you looking for?  For example, Chris Paul's 9.3% for his career for reference.

Will you please provide a chart to support the poor shot selection?  Because most of his threes have been much closer to the line this season and he's taking less of them off the dribble.   And if you take out game one he's MUCH worse on everything than last season except free throw shooting.  I believe he's finishing better this season.

So how many threes do you think he should take a game?  What are your expectations for his shooting percentages?

I'm guessing they didn't think Dunn would need surgery.  And seriously the guy has been off with this injury for a year.  They should have figured out something months ago.

Again, Schlenk sure does like taking chances..

I hope this answers everyone's questions about Trae this year.

It doesn't answer ANY questions about Trae. It's just a chart that graphically illustrates what we've all seen with our eyes during games. How does that possibly answer any of the questions we have?

It does not without context.  Are you going to respond to my other message?

Also, from that chart, please give what you would like to see in the fourth quarter.

It indicates that he has struggled during the 4th quarters of the first 7 games that is all.

Some people don't believe he has struggle like the poster above.  Even @AHF
thinks someone else was losing these close games.

Also, Dunn is pretty much a defensive specialist at this point so it still makes little sense..

Wait a minute, are you saying all the losses this season are all on Trae because of his 4th quarter struggles? It was an entire team effort in the losses though - not being able to snag a timely defensive rebound, an easy missed dunk, a bad foul, a missed 3 by another player not named Trae, missed freethrows. He has his culpability in the losses, but c'mon.

I'm saying that he is the star of the team and when the game is on the line and his usage rate is 41, he should not have more turnover than assist nor should his efg be 37%. That's all.

He was the reason we were leading those games.  With more support, his struggles in the 4th quarter wouldn't have sunk the team and he could have been pulled off the floor to let Rondo stabilize things while the coach gave him a chance to breath and some direction on the sidelines.  I don't think he hasn't had some struggles but overall he is still a huge positive impact for the team.

Rondo won't be playing in the 4th during crunch time so let's stop with that nonsense. This is Trae's team and he will determine wins and loses in close games in the 4th because the ball will be in his hands not someone else's period! This isn't his rookie season.

@Peoriabird, I've asked you to quantify what you would like to see, but you refuse to respond.  Why is that?

Technically, games played wise we are still in his second season.

Not at all.  I'm trying to make sure we have a baseline, that way I can understand where you are coming from.

Agreed.  Trae is our brightest star.  A poster for the Cavs (Re4alGM) called him a fake star.  Hawks are his team.  When they win, he usually gets his share of glory.  Therefore, in our loses he must share the blame.  It's a two way street.

Imagine the outcry if, for the final 5 minutes, Trae was on the bench.
