Trading JC for Siakam is a great move for both teams

I don't think it solves anything though.  Capela is still the guy who has to be right around the rim, because he has no offensive game outside of 6 feet.

LP will simply opt to play Siakam at the 5, and still play small ball.

All of Collins' best lineups have Capela in them.  It's mind boggling that Capela doesn't play with Collins more.  Well . . I know why.  It's to get our wings adequate PT.

Look how small we are now.  Unless we get hot from 3, we're not getting back in this game with stops.

Ball is Ben Simmons with a jump shot. He is a beast.

How you miss being the youngest ever to record a triple double by 1 (whilst trashing your big brother) and actually cash in the next day?  LaVar picked a fine time to keep his mouth shut, he’d be warranted in talking crazy sh!t about this one.  He has a likable personality from what I’ve seen. The feel and the rebounding pays   dividends every night.

The starters aren't playing bad from a +/- standpoint.  But the bench is horrible, because they are out of balance.  They're too small, not producing enough offense, and can't stop anybody.

If he goes back to playing Bruno + Collins with the 2nd unit, this gets fixed.  The bench will at least hold the fort.

This is not on LP. Bench is decimated, nobody can make a wide open 3. Our roster was built to shoot a boatload of 3s and that's exactly what we're doing, with good open looks, but guys are just missing. And of course it doesn't help that our best player is going through the worst shooting slump of his career.

Open threes are nice, but you can always find those - and the current offense (since we practiced more) lacks what we had going early in the season with ball movement/player involvement. The open shots come with hesitation because they feel pressure to make it and shoot it.
