Capela is much better than I thought!!

In the midst of the losing he has been a bright spot. Dude can ball on both ends of the floor. He is way more athletic than I thought. He has decent passing skills but if that is something he can work on/improve we could implement the old inside out game.

He’s been very solid.  I’ll excuse his considerable drop off in field goal and FT shooting from his career marks; he’s besting his career defensive rating this season.  If Cam is gonna be in and out of the lineup we need every bit of his movement, length, and awareness.

For all his flaws he is easy to love since double digits in the post have only been JC in the recent past. Knows no fear and we have needed that from someone that can give us thirty minutes a game down there.

Teams were definitely getting more easy layups last year. And now JC can concentrate on weak side shot blocking, which is more his strength than guarding the rim.

Our frontcourt is Capela, Collins, and Hunter.

All three has shown signs that they can be trusted out there.

LP could be playing them both together enough but it doesn’t feel like he is

Once Dunn is back we have Dunn, Reddish, Hunter, Collins, Capela line up. Our all defense unit.
