No, because Dre is not a better player.

Right now, Dre plays solid defense, and has shown the ability to score.  

Dre does NOT make people better.  Trae has shown the ability to score like a superstar, plus distribute the ball at a top 5 level.

I said Dre was gonna be a really good player, but he may never live up to that 4th overall selection. Glad I’m looking wrong as hell on that. I don’t know if there is anyone not named Ja or Zion that’s better than him from his class

I think Dre is a better basketball player. Trae should score a lot since he handles the ball more than anyone on the team. And I don't think Trae has made Dre any better. Dre put in the work himself

Having said that, you're just a "prisoner of the moment" right now.
