Me too man, but think about it this way, back then we NEEDED Lou to carry us, now if he is stinking it up we put in Trae. Huge difference there.

Can't blame Zion for the Pels sucking anymore than you could blame Trae last season. That Pels team is garbage outside of Zion. Zion is impressive for a second year player, and at some point will be the first player in NBA history to average 30ppg in over 60% shooting.

Zion is amazing, no question. His scoring efficiency is generational.

Bro, insert Hunter the way he was playing before his injury to this starting unit atm and we are elite. No hyperbole. Of course Bogi will HAVE to come back down to earth a little bit, but still.

Lonzo is decent, Ingram is incredibly overrated, if anyone should be getting the empty stats label it should be that guy. Steven Adams has also been a massive dud of an addition, has played really terribly on that team. The rest of the team is made up of players I honestly don't even know who they are unless I look them up.

He tends to be a slow starter. He was playing really well at the end of last season too.

Doing my thing to stimulate the economy.  Got my check.  Yesterday, I got a new TV.  Watched the game last night.  I'm liking how the Hawks looked!

WOW!  Set a new NBA record by hitting eleven from downtown in the third quarter without a miss.  And, not all of these shots were easy, wide open attempts.  Game tied at the half.  Over at the end of the third.

Our playoff hopes keep improving.  We should be considered good enough to make the cut now, especially if we can ever get healthy.  

Praise to Travis for getting all these Hawk players and praise to our new, interm coach for making a team out of the parts he was given.

Whoa, whoa, I gotta defend myself on this one.

First, "can't blame Zion"?  Can't blame the guy who doesn't defend his position and who rebounds at them Horford levels at the forward position?  Most athletic guy in the history of the world, per BSPN-types?

That directly impacts winning.  Directly.

His team is poorly constructed and not well-coached (these are separate rants), but it's not garbage.  They have players but it's the Zion show so who knows if they can actually win.

It's funny.  When Trae put up numbers and lost, it was his fault.  No one outside of Hawksquawkers paid attention to what the rest of the team was doing.  Folks ripped apart Trae's game, highlighted his weaknesses, and said he'd never lead a winning team. But Zion gets the garbage-team pass?  Nah.  For better or worse, he's playing beside an all-star and has vets in their rotation.

I'll go on record that he'll be the first to score 30-per on 60% shooting, but I'll also guarantee he'll be on a losing team.  That's success?
