Coaching won this game.  Nate was attacking Robinson in the 4th quarter.  Love to see those adjustments.

Bogi - Fantastic pick up.  He played a great game. 

Kevin - Again, he's the 19th pick in the draft. He's playing MUCH better defense.  He's getting more consistent.  I'd love to see where he is in a few years.

John - Played a great game.  He is still isn't 100% in rhythm, but it's big to have him back.

OO - Great game from the young guy.  He fouled alot but played hard.

Solomon Hill - We moaned about him in the beginning of the season, but he's been more than solid lately.

Gallo - Came in like sniper.  So glad he's back. We will need him with Trae out. 

Sweet Lou - Made some good shots. 

Goodwin - Can't say enough about his defensive effort and shotmaking. He's getting better at running the team. 

Nate - Thank you for coaching this team up!

If Capela returns against the Bucks, the Hawks will have more than a puncher's chance.

No one is talking about this, but the Wizards are HOT!  Those last few games against them this season won't be a gimme.

Im not saying we are better without Trae. We need Trae obviously. But when he is out we might be better in certain respects.

The Hawks are a better TEAM under Nate than they ever were under LP precisely because Nate runs an actual system instead of just letting Trae go crazy every night. The team is less dependent on Trae which is why they can now have a chance to win if Trae plays poorly or even if he doesn't play at all. 

Now, none of that means they don't need Trae or are better off without him. They do and they aren't. They have been an ELITE team with Trae and Nate. They are likely just a good team without Trae. Good enough to beat the Heat and some other bad teams, but I doubt they win a playoff series without Trae.

I disagree. They had a lot of money committed to Fox and Buddy. It just wasn't tenable to pay him that, and they ended drafting an excellent replacement in Halliburton. We could pay him because we have so many guys on rookie deals. But rest assured, we will have to make some tough financial decisions in the years ahead. Heck, we are already have a tough decision in JC.

True, but he plays better when he has real minutes. Most players do. How can you get any kind of rhythm playing 10 minutes a game? Being a bench player in the NBA is kinda hard that way.

One of the best wins of the season. A true team win with so many injuries. We are 19-7 under a real coach. Wow.
