That's why I don't embrace this "villain" narrative. It feels forced and it's not who Trae has been for the past few seasons at all. Plus, it still carries a negative connotation that can take a very bad turn. The media perception is already bad enough as it is. It just intensifies the trolling and negative press/social media when the Hawks inevitably lose a game or series. Why can't Trae just be a great NBA basketball player like the rest of his peers who perform at his level? Why is everything he accomplishes somehow getting framed in a negative manner? Who else in the NBA is getting this treatment? Maybe I'm looking too deep into this, but I get suspicious when different media outlets parrot the same narrative.

Kind of funny. If I was a player I’d definitely participate in post game interviews as to not get fined but troll the crap outta the media every chance I got.

Wilbon and Cornhesier aren't cut from the same cloth as a lot of their current ESPN colleagues.  (More thoughtful.)  Haven't watched PTI in years but would much rather tune in to that than anything with SAS, Skip Bayless, etc.

It's so so so sweet for us with a sadistic spirit to watch/hear these guys moan and groan on and on. I'm 20 minutes in, and so far, I'm hearing that the diagnosis is mainly that (a) Rose needs to be playing with the 2nd unit, and (b) they need to pick-up Trae earlier which supposedly will make it harder for him to get into the paint.
