It feels great because we just beat a team that is 29-7 at home this year... and is the #1 seed in the East.   And their best players played and their best player had a great game. 

I know it was ugly down the stretch... but we just beat the #1 seed overall in the East  while they were at full strength... IN their house.

Sure are a lot of excuses and moral victory speeches on the interwebz right now. Nice to be on the other side of all of that consolation prize talk. Even the national sports media seems a little subdued in their coverage of Hawks-6ers. Not as much fun when the rabbit has the gun. I noticed Embiid was a little gimpy in the 3rd. Either they continue to play him 35+ minutes until he inevitably gets hurt worse or they sit him and risk a potential Hawks sweep.

Shaq basically charged on every move to the paint with no call. Yeah OK, the refs have always sucked out loud. Anyway Embiid at his size is just super skillful. 

It's a great comparison... I think Embiid is more skilled and can hit free throws but Shaq was dominating in the paint.

Trae gets absolutely destroyed by everyone if that pass is tipped or off line.

But that's why he's Trae Young.  Not only is he willing to take the chance to make that kind of pass, he's such an accurate passer that it's probably the one pass that no one expected him to do.

Just noticed Gallo ended up 50% from three today. Holy something or other. Oh, one of two. Still better than 0-7 you know. He looked overall  better on the court today to me. Hair filling in must be balancing his game out now.

Gallo was fouled too on his dunk, but @bleachkit says the refs were more than fair.
