Game 4 adjustments

1. Don't overthink. If Embiid scores 50, so what, we can't do what we did today. 129 points given up. Trae who's against scoring has been quiet throughout the playoffs but has given up 40 points tonight. Milton had all of his points on Trae. Korkmaz had 12 on Trae. Embiid had 8 on Trae. Others scored on him at will.

2. Without Green, we must attack whoever is guarding Bogi.

3. Pray Cam Reddish plays game 4.

4. Lou Williams gotta be better.

5. Kevin has to show up, we just don't got enough scoring if he doesn't show up.

6. The Sixers are a better team. We still got work to do to become contenders.

It really starts on defense. Discipline. Stay with the shooters, run with the cutters, hands up and not out.

Joel will eat whether you like it or not. He is just like Trae, he will either score in his own or at the line, or both. No sense in getting handsy with him and doubling, just prevent the offensive boards and dump offs.

We got killed with easy buckets by role players. Embiid had his worst offensive game and we suffered our worst defeat. Its not him, its us.

The main thing is Philly can get easy buckets when outside shots aren't falling.

Trae can't get to his floater with Simmons length all on him. That takes away his floater/lob/kick-out attack. No-one else can get to the paint every possession and draw doubles. No-one can score consistently over their defender. No-one can force the other team to make adjustments.

Defensively we can't get physical, shrink the floor, force turnovers, or get hands in passing lanes. We keep fouling cause we give up size.

If we have Deandre we punish them for putting Simmons on Trae and we have someone to shutdown Harris. Not to mention better spacing. If we have Cam than its over. No-one can use their length to cover ground and recover like those two.

We don't finish the Knicks in 5 without Deandre. So it should be harder to handle the SIxers.

What many.have been saying , if you shit down trae with no other option to keep players like Simmons off of him we are toast, not trying to be negative it's just what it is, saying go small is just a gamble implying they aren't gonna play defence and just let everyone shoot it out , our players don't make contested threes, we need movement to create open looks and trae to initiate that, if they shit that down we don't have other options that is the hawks

We tried to scheme and of course it backfired. You can't scheme him. Leave him on an island with Capela and hope for the best.

Embiid is the best player in the NBA

Or to some this up another way, like we all say trae isn't Luka what he give in size he is impacting with his passing, but if he can't do it fkit. It'd same shit Mavs went through just another context ,

Cam Reddish is not walking through that door and making a difference.   He hasn't played in _______ weeks.

The problem is that our defense sucks and they are too physical.  They are punching us in the mouth.

Throw that 2-3 zone the hell away.

You don't know that. None of us do.

Our defense wasn't bad in game 1 or 2. It was bad in game 3 mainly because we tried to scheme Embiid and hope that the crowd and being at home would help us and it didn't.

Basketball at this level requires shape and timing that you only get from playing.   These are pipe dreams that you are having the he can come in and shut down Harris and give us 16 pts.

Ain't no one saying Cam going to do that you dumbass. We just need someone to give us perimeter defense and have a purse when the rock in his hands when guarded by a weaklink and not always crying for a screen

I thought Simmons had his best all around game of the series.  Gotta give him some credit.

For all of the shit Sixers fans talk about him. If it's a matchup where he has a defensive assignment. He's hell to deal with.

If cam became a solid 15 pt a game player with his defence and we had the better versions of Hunter out there, that is a crazy deep team and we should be able to handle philly easily , we are doing well but it's obvious what we need , which unfortunately is also what very team needs badass wing players.  I'd put us in the finals if we had those guys.  Just hope we can win something before we lose these guys, because if we lose them and just keep trae that's the same shit as having matt and Julio and shit else, trying to fill gaps with free agents and no lottery pics , which is why I wish they tanked one more year we've seen this go all in too early before , and I hate comparing pro sports franchises thst are so different but it's a logical comparison

All of their guys are just putting their head down and running straight to the basket.

The Hawks better learn how to flop!
