We have been looking at the best like Best draft pick, best trade, Best FA...

What was our Worst Draft pick?

Again no poll.. just allows you to remember.

I will go out on a limb and say....  Roy Marble.

DeMarr was a consideration... he wasn't so bad.

Payne was traded and I don't remember what we got for him?

For My Old heads, we drafted Jon Koncak before Chris Mullin, Oakley, Schrempf, Karl Malone, Joe Dumars, AC Green, and Terry porter.

You can’t make a blunder bigger than Marvin over CP3.  I know Marvin had a long career and all while other high picks busted soon after being drafted but we talking 65 career win shares to 169.  Chris Paul would skunk Marvin in a game of 21 at half his size.  For all my millenials that means he’d win 21 to 0 lol.  Do young people still play 21 anyway?

My god.  Whoever that GM was should live in infamy even after death.

I always think about what Billy Knight is up to.  That man live in Poland somewhere probably.  Rightfully.

Probably Omari Spellman. He was supposed to be a part of this young core we have right now if he didn't have weight issues.

Never thought I’d hear that name again.  If the lure of being a part of a budding Golden State dynasty couldn’t get him right he just wasn’t cut out.  The sight of him just always made me think he bought palettes of honey bun boxes off the truck.

I'm still holding out hope that he becomes a good player. He was really good when he was at Villanova.

Adam Keefe, Sheldon Williams, Cal Bowdler come to mind...........who's the guy that came in the game with his shoes untied?

Aside from Sheldon, Keefe and Bowdler were late picks.

Dermarr Johnson.

A couple other notable busts:

Adreian Payne

Priest Lauderdale

That was such a terrible draft that people kind of sweep the Johnson pick under the rug but if you consider he was the 6th player picked and ended up 27th in win shares produced that is a pretty massive whiff. For example the Marvin Williams pick which is the first one anyone thinks about when asking this question had a much better value yield... 2nd overall and finished 5th in win shares, though a big chunk of those happened on other teams.

Shelden Williams abso-freakingloutely deserves a mention as well as he was 5th overall and finished 20th in career win shares.

I thought he was a second rounder?

I think the problem was that there was no scouting of small schools.   I mean Dumars, Oakley, Malone came from smaller programs.  But Mullins... we already had Nique.
