I stand Corrected about Cam.  He is ready for More time.   Still.. I wasn't happy with his first few minutes in the game.  BUt his defense won me over.   Then the three point shooting got me there.

Damn.

Cam was that good.

He and Dunn totally screwed up their offense tonight.

It was the most beautiful defensive display I've seen from a Hawks team since the Mookie/ Dikembe days 

And by beautiful I mean ugly. But the good kind of ugly.

I love how versatile this team is. They look like a finesse team one game but can get downright ugly the next. The Bucks were NOT expecting that at all.

This team has most bases covered.  Outside of Bigs dropping dimes and elite level dribble drive finishing there’s nothing they can’t do.  The bench is just too powerful, mixing young players with  excellent defensive skills with vets who can get hot instantly.  Nate and Schlenk should win COTY and EOTY retroactively you simply can’t do better than they’ve done.

What Cam brings, is a lot more skill, athleticism and energy.

Even if he shoots horribly, he still has the potential to make plays in other areas of the game.

All of Solo's numbers and metrics are very poor. ALL of them.

Cam literally represents the only wild card we have left to play. Unless there is some risk of injury to him, we have nothing to lose by giving him 20+ minutes in the next game.

Forget everything else Cam brings. Cam drives ball handers nuts (as does Dunn). You put Cam, Dunn in the game and offenses take 5 extra seconds every trip down the floor just getting into their sets. Its ugly but 2 turnovers turning into easy transitions is an 8 point swing in most games.

My favorite part of last nights game was watching Milwaukee flounder getting into sets. All the long clocks, the turnovers, the forced jumpers.

There is a huge difference in rhythm jumpers and forced jumpers. On ball defenders change everything at both ends of the floor. The NBA game is won in transition 9 nights out of 10. Give me Cam tipping rebounds, disrupting passing lanes, stopping ball handlers. I'll take the little bit of bad with the electric.

Last night's game would suggest we would be up 3-1 had Cam been given Solo's minutes in game 3.

We know Cam can play better with more minutes and getting his game legs back

He's my favorite player on the team. Not saying he's our best player but love his skill set and potential. He's the reason we're possibly looking at the first stages of a dynasty.
