Dribble penetration killed us. The easy buckets to Lopez off that was murderous.  We offered no perimter resistance AT ALL, NONE! Jrue was splitting double teams like they weren't there. That's where it starts otherwise your bigs have no chance. If you dare take a look at all of Lopez's points

Nate's refusal to play the Capela, Collins, Gallo big trio MEANINGFUL minutes is frustrating.

On offense, in general we scored enough points to win, however, the game was lost in the 1st quarter when both JC(5) and Huerter(3) went 0-8 in their 1st 7 minutes of play and was also unable to do anything on defense.

You also go down 30-10 when a terrible 3 point shooting team goes 2-2 on their first threes of the game. Add that in with the easy dunks and layups (bad D by us) and allowing them to play so “handsy” on defense… game over in Q1.

- Game 5 shows (again) why our guy Lou's not a starter.  Not a diss, it just is what it is.  Man, when Lou doesn't have it, he really ... really doesn't have it.

- Speaking of doesn't have it, can we talk about 1st half Jollins?  Man, he lacks elite length which we all know.  But he's not "small" compared to everyone except bLopez.  Can we get a freaking box out?  We collectively made them look like 5 Dennis Rodmans out there but at some point can Jollins put his booty into some dude's pelvis and stake out some real estate in. the. painted. area.  (thanks, Hubie)

- Speaking of making them look like something they're not, can we talk about Bob Portis?  Or should I say Shaq Olajuwon, which is what we made him look like.  Can't be having no hustle/energy guy going off like that.  Now Patrick Beverly would've flagrant'd him a couple times but that's not how you combat the problem.  Somebody's gotta match his energy.  It's game 5 of the ECF.  Shirley one-a you dudes got some piss n' vinegar in your system for a stretch.  Here's where a guy like Bruno not showing himself to be playable on any level hurts.

- And speaking of hurts, can we talk about Rayford Jr.?  Man it was fool's gold to think we could bottle up that game 4 performance and spill it all over the rug at Fiserv Arena.  Fu*k the refs, man.  I still haven't figured out why the dude decided to be a freaking statue behind Trae.  Where's that maneuver in the ref handbook?  Everything I've seen suggests the refs should err on the side of missing the call rather than come into accidental contact with a player.  So thanks, friggin goofball ref.  Naw, I ain't over it.  Because, even if Trae returns, he's not gonna be 100% so the friggin damage is done.  Screw that guy.

It fkng pisses me off when I see Jollins get mauled in the post until he loses the ball.  And the ref turns to him like, "Whaddoyouwan'medado?"

Fill your freaking whistle with air, moron!  You saw the same shiatsu massage we all just witnessed. 

That's not "lettin' 'em play", muthafkr.  That's lettin' em foul.  There's a difference.  And I know you know there's a difference because when the arm hair on a Hawks player's forearm grazes against Jrue's shorts, you find a way to muster up the nerve to involve yourself in the play.

The game was a clear illustration of what happens when one team decides to hit first and the other team kinda sorta taps back.

When Brook Lopez starts dribbling for more than 3 seconds a couple things happen, I imagine I’m watch NBA jam with the big head big character players and I can’t stop laughing for 1-3 minutes.

Request: for someone to be shown as Todd Haley excited on the Chiefs sidelines 10 years ago, I think you actually used to use that one a lot kg, you stopped. You had that one while @JayBirdHawk dominated with the cat drag, the sensible chuckle and the let it go gifs! 
 

I actually jump up and down like Haley. I don’t look as weird though, that fool looks like he’s 2 minutes from heading down a Ron Jeremy line for a treat.

This pretty much shows why we lost. The defensive intensity we had in game 4 was non existent in this game - missed assignments, slow rotations, no resistance at the point of attack.

As much as folks hate it/him, last night might've been a Solo game.  If nothing else, the guy brings energy.  Has no idea what to do with it other than hit folks and toss his body around but that would've been better than 'deer in headlights' play.

What is it about Collins that refs just don't call fouls? His shooting was "off" the first half mainly because everytime he took a shot downlow he was getting judo chopped.
