Braves re model outfield at deadline

The entire idea of having a bunt for a base hit is dead in Atlanta.  Albies and Freeman both came to bat, late in the game, and found the short stop near the second base bag and the third baseman playing rover in right field.  Braves, desperate for base runners, refused to push a bunt down the third base line where no one was.

Both players made an out.  Refused to take what was offered to them, free.

This season, Braves have been within one game of .500 record and have a record of something like 1-13 in those games and have never, not once this season, been over .500.

The bunt has become useless because they refuse to use it.

😪

This makes as much sense as a NBA team refusing to take free throws!

😜
