Not surprised. This was Bogi's first real "breakout" year. People want to see if he can repeat the same success he had last season.

No issues here either.    But look how much having one guy, Perk, who has real knowledge of the Hawks forces the others to actually educate themselves.  Finally!

I agree Bogdan had an up and down season but he did have covid plus a knee injury.   Can you imagine what his shooting is going to look like when his inconsistent season he shoots 44% from 3?   

I'm as excited to watch Bogdan this year as just about anyone.   In a lot of ways he's the perfect mate to Trae in that he can hit really tough shots and handle the ball well.   Trae is the best passer in the league but sometimes that two guard gets stuck with some tough spots when Trae gets forced into using a lot of the shot clock.   Bogi was the best at making something out of it.

Interpretation:  NBA will not be calling any fouls on Trae Young this season.  Go ahead.  You may be able to stop him now!!

Did they not watch the playoffs? In 18 games, or the 16 that Trae played, he may have gotten 1 questionable foul call, and it was very questionable. The light bump against Jrue Holiday that went for an And-1.

He was getting knocked around over and over and played through it with no foul calls.

My issue issue is less about him and more about are they going to call it even across the board. JC picks up about 2 cheap fouls a game where the contact is ticky tack. I know that isn't the same as baiting for fouls, but still, if contact is made they better call it both ways. Don't swallow the whistle on Trae and give another team multiple trips to the line.

Exactly.  There is so much they need to clean up with the officiating.   They are wildly inconsistent at calling illegal screens and even kicked balls.  Not to mention there is constant exaggerrated contact by some in the league that goes unnoticed by the league flopping office for some reason.

Kyrie keeps getting overrated by putting up great efficiency numbers as the #2 or #3 offensive option on really good teams.  If he was the #1 guy for his career like he was in Boston with his mediocre playoff numbers, his lack of playmaking and his lack of leadership in the spotlight he wouldn't get this love.  But put him in NY with a relatively narrow range of responsibility and shower him with love for exploiting defenses that are geared around not disrupting his game but stopping his better teammate(s).

BSPN  doesn't have Hunter in their top 100.  Maybe it's because of the injuries, but you can't tell me there are 100 better players in the NBA than Hunter!

We really gave it to Sef and the Scurries during the Philly season. We essentially ended their families NBA year which lil Stephanie not being able to carry his team to a play in game even though he’s a top 50 guy in history? Ohhhkayyy.
