Sad that Freddie is gone now. Didn’t want to give up Pache in the deal. 
 

Olson had a breakout year with 39 homers and 111 RBI, hope he’s the real deal.

I really didn't know of Olson too much til last October, as a potential fill-in, I see his production and youth, so I'll deal with it.

Watch Freeman go with LA Dodgers and give the Braves and L,  in the playoffs.

Looked like Olson was better in almost everyway last year.   I don't think Pache was the key to the deal either, I heard it was the catcher we sent.  

I always think it's bad karma to ditch the face of the franchise but sounds like we just couldn't stomach paying him the bucks when he's aging. 

The difference here is we have other stars on the team.

I heard that too but no proof.  I'm surprised he wasn't willing to compromise to stay in Atlanta for 2 reasons.  1) we're the damn champs.  2) he's buds with Chipper who repeatedly took less to stay here so the club could succeed.

The 6th year was the deal breaker. I think it’s a good baseball move but selfishly wanted Freddie to retire a Brave.
