Gray Mule
Dream have changed a lot. Different owners than they once had. New, different GM. New, different head coach and different assistant coaches. Not many of the old Dream players remain. Most have been traded or released and new players who were free agents have become new Dream players. If this wasn't enough, the WNBA draft is coming soon and Atlanta is right in the middle of it. They now play where the Skyhawks play (this is home) and we die hard fans are hoping for great things this summer! GO ATL DREAM !!
Spud2nique
Go Dream! Gramps and lw3 got me into this a bit last year. Let’s go ladies! Bring it home for the ATL!
Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted April 6, 2022 Moderators Report Share Posted April 6, 2022 No longer just "in the middle of it"! (I had to double check Mechelle's tweet to make sure it was her and not some new WNBA version of draft-time "Wonjarowskis") ~lw3
Dnice
Is Caitlyn or the Boston lady from the Gamecocks available? I didn't search, but get one of them.
Gray Mule
Apparently, the player that the Dream wanted wasn't going to be there at #3 so they traded down to #1 in this summer's draft. Whoever that was wanted is now there for the taking. We will find out Monday night when the WNBA draft opens. Dream have not been the same since their former #1 pick left. Now they have another opportunity to turn things back around. Roster already has a new look due to all the trading, signing and releasing that has happened. Now we will be adding draft picks to complete the picture. GO ATL DREAM !!
Gray Mule
Rhyne Howard,#1 draft pick was rookie of the year! Still have a long way to go. They recently traded for veteran guard Danielle Robinson. In this spring's draft, the Dream have #3 & #8. Both the head coach and the GM have new, long term contracts. Future looking bright! GO DREAM !!
Gray Mule
I believe the Dream have already spent that #3 pick for an all star guard.
Gray Mule
Coming Monday, April 10, 2023 we find the WNBA draft. Dream still own the #6 and #8 first round picks. There are some great players out there who are turning pro. I hope the Dream get some great three point shooters to fill out the team. That seemed to be a major weakness last summer.
