Ivey's specific injury had nothing to do with the shoes.  Todd slid his foot underneath him as he was landing.  Also, unless you have ankle braces, those high tops aren't really helping you avoid an ankle sprain.

Hi tops helped with the severity of ankle sprains. These kids are rolling their ankles all the way over in these low tops. In hi tops, most of these are ankle tweaks that you might can play through after icing it initially.
