Moderators Popular Post AHF Posted July 8, 2022 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted July 8, 2022 Have at it. @NBASupes @Sothron @thecampster Also, a reminder from the pinned moderator thread: HOW TO DEAL WITH POSTERS OF 'INSIDE INFORMATION' - A natural corollary to the conclusion that we will permit these posts from these posters (absent some significant change in circumstances) is that we aren't going to have a debate on the board about whether they are lying or full of it, etc. The mantra all of you are probably sick of hearing from me is "address the post, not the poster." If you believe a poster is acting in bad faith PM a mod. If you think that discussion is encroaching on other topics, PM a mod. You are 100% entitled not to believe a word of these posts in which case it might be recommended to skip the thread entirely. However, we are not going to move into a referendum on the posters and their good faith on the board. Report it if you think there is some compelling reason that there is a problem. But do not insult the posters, attack their integrity, etc. on the board. Feel 100% free, to the contrary, to give every reason under the sun you think that the inside information doesn't make sense. Hopefully he doesn't mind, but I'll use bleach as a good example of how to do this. There were 'inside information' posts concerning potential Ben Simmons trades that were made. He did not attack the posters but very vocally stated why he thought that a trade along those lines didn't make sense and would therefore never happen. That is totally fair discussion. It is basketball discussion about the content of the post rather than the poster themselves. That is how to engage on this if you don't think the 'inside info' is credible rather than to challenge the poster. (Recap: Engage on a basketball discussion or reach out to a moderator). 10

Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted July 8, 2022 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 8, 2022 I wonder how Harden feels taking that paycut and now seeing Dame sign for almost double. Like I said, teams just giving away money like it's Monopoly. 1 3

I mean those poverty franchises have no option. They just gonna pay their one marketable star and be done. Let’s gather a prayer circle that doesn’t become the Hawks in 5 years. DJ coming makes a huge step above that poverty line. 3 minutes ago, GameTime said: Wearing blue… probably clipper, Mavs or Knicks bound
Gray Mule
I've got a problem. Max contracts take too much of the total payroll and leaves a team with too many cheaper players to fill out their roster. Yeah, I know. Great all-star players must be paid mega bucks. Why? It says to all the other players on the team, "Too bad, sucker. That's what it costs to play with me." Edited July 9, 2022 by Gray Mule

Do they even know what kind of playing shape he is in coming off of injury. I know they got Young guys like Simons and stuff but Dayuum that's a lot of money. That cannot be moved. I believe Beal can play fairly decently and in a pinch he can be moved.

Premium Member Diesel Posted July 9, 2022 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 9, 2022 With all the hype surrounding Dame Time... over the last few years.. I think that now that the break up is finalized... CJ is in a better position to go farther than Dame. I like the mixture of CJ, Ingram, and Zion. I like Hart, Simons, Grant and Dame too.. it's just a lot of overlap...
Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted July 9, 2022 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 9, 2022 The only thing is I’ve heard from people who would know is that KD has his heart set on Phoenix. And that Miami is also right behind the Suns. That’s it. 2

Popular Post Wurider05
Okay when he signs that contract he better shut the hell up about needing help. He and Beal both know what they are signing up for. Both are extremely overpaid and will ask for a trade as soon as the ink dries on their contracts. These owners are going to rip them a new one when the CBA talks start up again. I think that they are going to have the support of the casual and die hard NBA fans this time around.
