We need to go around 25-16 to try and grab that 6th seed (held currently by the Knicks at 23-19. We are 3.5 games behind them and the Pacers who are sitting in 7th.

This is a BIG GAME.

There is way too much optimism to believe we will be in position to to get top lottery pick. We have too much talent and have been too competitive against playoff caliber teams to drop down the standings.

We are stuck in the middle. We can beat low tier teams with pure talent but can't execute well enough to consistently beat quality teams that aren't tanking.

The east is stack. Everyone outside of the bottom 5 got a lot of talent. Generally, I would agree

@NBASupes it took 61 tries and I finally nailed it. That’s actually better odds than I thought.  Having said that, we could have a 70% chance at the 1st, win the thing, and Adam Silver still wouldn’t give it to us.

Hawks need to go 21-11 to finish with 46 wins. That is how many last season’s 6th seed had in the Eastern Conference (as a reference). Basically, win 2 of every 3 games for the remainder of the season
