Official Game Thread: heat at Hawks -- The MLK Day Game!

2 years ago we turned it around after a trip to Toronto thanks to Tony Snell miraculous shot..

Could the same thing happen this season after beating the team we usually struggle with again?

Trae needs to slow down.   Everyone has it going right now.  No need to force passes or dribble yourself into traffic.

Other than that, and Bogi's shooting, this has been a perfect game.  Defense has been excellent in the paint, with Capela leading the way.

He had AJ on the wing earlier for a 3 and pulled up for a missed 15 footer. smh

Wouldn't necessarily call this a "miracle shot".  That was Tony being Tony.

Great execution on the play though.

Miami is doubling Trae every time. They did the same thing during playoffs but this time other guys are making their shots.

He seems to be trying to show Miami he can't be contained by them anymore.  But he's very peripatetic so far and does need to dial it down a notch.  Great overall game from him though, as he is very pesky on defense too.

Very shaky end to that quarter.  Clean that isht up Trae.  

 

Hawks shooting 67% from the field and from 3.  We also have 17 assists.

4 players in double figures.

Held Miami to 41% FG and 25% 3FG.

Indeed , he also needs to Give up the ball quicker when the double comes.
