It's the only way he can try to live up to his superstar responsibilities as a scorer.  He has to shoot more to be able to make more shots.  He already has 7 assists, but we're down by 9.  So he needs to score also.

1 - 6 FG is nothing.

He could easily be 6 - 14 going into the 4th quarter, and have close to 20 points.

But you can't score if you don't shoot.

He tried that plan the last 2 games and it resulted in 1 3 point field goal. Not good

He still has to shoot, no matter how much some of you hate it.  His job is to score and facilitate at a high level.
