Zero defense and 5 TOs…and another dumb final possession to end 1st quarter without a shot getting off. Trae deserves the critique.

It really is our bench. We got the best bench in the NBA since we got rid of garbage and replace them with Bey, Matthews, and Bruno.

Someone with “credibility” needs to suggest that Trae is spending too much time in this game trying to get a foul call and not trying hard enough to actually make a basket.

He's actually trying to spend too much time trying to get his teammates involved, by forcing passes.

And his jumper has been on since the All-Star break.  Instead of forcing a lot of drives to the basket, he needs to trust his jumper.   Only 1 attempted 3 all night.

He should just let the shots fly.

0 - 7 FG right now.  His goal should be to finish 5 - 14 FG.

With 2 of those made FGs being threes.

Remember folks, we are something like 1 - 88 when Trae is ( - ) double digits in a game.

 

So either the bench needs to pick up where they left off, or Trae must play a very good end of the 3rd and mid/end 4th quarter.
