The Pacers are pressing the inbounds pass up 13.  One of the many cultural differences between the two teams.  Hawks don’t even press down 13.

Quinn puts these stupid non-defensive line ups in the game time and time again.  I hope this is just experimentation and not an actual strategy going forward

86 points given up in the 1st half. Trae is back ya'll. 

Get Edey and sleep good Landry, Kyle, and Tony. 

That would cut down the turnovers by a significant margin because playing this high pressure shit against us will just get you in foul trouble but can't make you pay for it with our current personnel.

This has nothing to do with Trae.  It's our frontcourt, and has always been our frontcourt.

The Pacers frontcourt has dominated us this game.   This is why you want Edey.  He at least is a big body who can get some of those defensive rebounds.  But in a game like this, Edey would be a complete liability with the Pacers 5-out offense.

The Hawks need more athletes on the frontcourt.  Mo G had very nice defensive activity when he was in the game.  Bruno is struggling because he's used to guarding centers 18 feet and in . . . not 18 feet and out, like with Turner.  And Mr Hunter as our PF . . . 1 rebound, and getting destroyed by Siakam.

Hawks are getting outrebounded in this game 26 - 14.

He's better than what you just said but he's not a 4. He can guard 1-3 and big wings bit 4s are too big for him. He just doesn't have that athleticism. The 4s he can guard are one like Julius Randle who game is rumble and tumble but skilled 4s with athleticism just kill him.

The problem isn't just defense, its turnovers and our inability to handle pressure due to size issues. Defense is actually not that bad when we can avoid points in the paint and live ball turnovers. Quin defensive scheme works with Trae and without him. The issue is, we get killed those areas and give up too much in those areas with Trae. We gotta limit paint attempts and we gotta limit turnovers.

Murray is clearly better at the 1 than SG...

And Trae can only play one way..
