Ever so casually omitted Dyson Daniels sitting at least this one Out, too (strained hip flexor, as mine would be were I trying in vain to cover the whole defensive floor). Save us, Keaton Wallace!

Jonas Valanciunas will continue in his plug-in role in the starting lineup, spelling Kuzma in the frontcourt as the Zards continue pushing Sarr's stretch-big experiment.

Trae has to play better too even if tired.  Shoot better and take care of the ball.  He played with scrubs in his early years and still put up huge numbers, he needs to do that again.

I agree with you but long are the days of Trae getting touch fouls that open up the whole floor for him to do w/e he wants.  He needs teammates to step up because he is not going to be able to self-create well at all how they are letting defenses play.

Injuries or not losing to a bottom feeder team two games in a row is a really bad look.  Hopefully the Hawks can avoid that stigma.

So much this.  We can't lose to them again.  These should be as close to "gimme" games as we get so if we can't win against the Wizards with guys hurt how long a losing streak are we facing?

We need ZR to step up tonight.  He has looked uncomfortable offensively but we need him to settle down.

I don't have a lot of faith in us winning even if it is against the Wizards.  Trae has to play better too even if tired.  Shoot better and take care of the ball.  He played with scrubs in his early years and still put up huge numbers, he needs to do that again.

cmon dude, he's a week into his NBA career and a week into living in a totally foreign country.  He's a teenager.  We most definitely do NOT need him to step up tonight.  We need him to just continue doing what he is doing and continue working on getting better.

I won't lie.  It would be great to see him step up tonight!

sure it would be great, but for someone to say we need him to do that is pretty outrageous.

Nah, sun.  I need to see his first thirty-burger tonite.  Tonight!  2nite, Billy Corgan!  Let's smash these pumpkins!

being a Chicagoan you know I love a good Billy Corgan reference.      I just hope we don't look back at this season and describe it as the season of melancholy and the infinite sadness.

Hawks need a win tonight.  It would be wonderful if our rookie has a great game.  He's capable.

Looking, hoping for good things from Keaton Wallace tonight.  Wouldn't it be great if he really shines tonight!

Wonder who gets hurt tonight.  We all hope it's no one.  Enough, already!

Hit those free throws.  Win the game.

6 of the 10 man rotation are out, that is a lot.

Kobe and Bogi are going to be out 4 weeks at least, that is a lot considering we have no backup PG. We knew we needed one, bad luck that we are exposed so early with this

I guess starting lineup is

Trae/Matthews/Risacher/JJ/Capela

rotation will include

Keaton Wallace/Roddy/Gueye/Nance/OO

that is very discouraging, we are so thin at Guard that is difficult to believe. Landry should do some adjustments to the team, Bogi, Daniels, Bufkin are all injury prone, we need some backup at PG and SG.

My point was that as it relates to this game, with the guys that we have out, we need him to step up if we are going to win.  If he shoots 1-7 I don't think we will win.  Not saying I'm expecting him to dominate or that I'll bash him if he doesn't.  Just that the team needs it to win right now given our health.

I agree it's asking too much but I don't see us winning without ZR contributing more unless everyone else just gets super hot from three or Trae goes bonkers.

In fairness, I think we can win this as long as Trae doesn't put up a total stinker.  Getting more from ZR would be great but he can repeat his performance from last game and I think we can win if Trae has a better game to go with JJ, OO, etc.
