  1. He might not even get drafted. Remember the kid from Iran Jaber ? he entered the draft and no one selected him. Then again this guy could be like the big Korean who was drafted in the 2ndround last year. I forgot what team selected him I think the Trailblazers. The only thing that guy could do was shoot the ball well for his size. Both guys are probably more of a Wang Zhi Zhi than a Yao Ming. BTW Cyman is that why Yao is on his Jersey instead of Ming?

He didn't get drafted because he was just way too unathletic and slow.

Muresan is mainly ugly because of his lack of forehead imo.

But I think this guy Ha Seung Jin takes the crown for ugliness. ugggh he's probably a little too ugly for my eyes :cant believe:

  3. I meant Willis. Very small feet!

Yeah which partially explains why his arms were so short. Almost comically short from what I've seen. And he's got small hands, too, which is why he dunks with two hands even though he's 7 foot cause he can't palm the ball...

  4. There's been a little buzz about Iran's first draft entries -- Jaber Rouzbahani and Hamid Haddadi. Both are taller than 7 feet and neither is yet 20 years old. Rouzbahani is considered the best prospect of the two. He's 7-foot-5, 265-pound big man with an 8-foot wingspan and a 10-foot standing reach.

"I've never seen anyone do that," Drew Gooden told the Contra Costa Times after watching him workout. "But I've never seen anyone dunk without having to jump, and he can do that, too. I think he has a lot of upside and potential. His size is a gift in itself, that and his length. He has that 8-foot wingspan. Without a question somebody is going to draft him. Those guys don't come around too often."

Yeah I've heard about that guy too. All I can remember about him is the fact he has like a freaking 8 foot wingspan, could touch the rim while standing flat footed, dunk on his tippy toes, and was on the Olympics 2008 team for Iran. jaber005.jpg

lol he kinda reminds me of the Elastic guy from Fantastic Four in that pic...

  5. Kevin Willis actually has the arms of a 6'1'' man, but he was a bas muddafucka who had a great career and one personal favourite of mine.

Yeah he has played for both longest time and the oldest player for the league. I think Shaq will be retiring this or next season. Just curious. What's wingspan? Is he really a legit 7 feet w/o shoes? I think his wingspan is probably less than his own height (just like Yao Ming who also has 't-rex arms' cause 6,8" Brand Elton has the same wingspan as 7,5" Yao lol)

  6. I read that he had to have part of his foot amputated because of a staph infection not too long ago. Sad story.

He was actually a good draft prospect with fairly impressive stats. Avg 5 bpg and 12 ppg (but that was unfortunately mostly due to insane height and wingspan). He doesn't even have to jump to block shots and dunk!

  7. Where did this thread come from?

    No, haven't heard of George.

He has a biggest guy for college hoops since Shagari (and probably the biggest person ever to play college hoops). Never thought was possible to actually dunk a basketball without jumping until I saw this guy...

  8. Diesel - Can you name a single player in the NCAA who is 7'3'' or taller and has an 8'0'' wingspan or longer? Shagari is a freak in terms of size, both in height but especially in wingspan. I'm not sure I know of anybody in the NBA with as big a wingspan as Shagari so it is no surprise about Bogut not having seen that before.

    Heard of Kenny George before?

That guy is 7,7" (barefoot and 7,9" w/ shoes), 360 lbs, and his wingspan is an unbelievable 8,5"!!! That guy is almost unreal! He can basically stand flatfooted and dunk!

But how in the world can he let somebody 6,9" dunk on him? If you watch closely his hands are clearly above the rim while he's still standing on the floor!

  9. Huh??? Very strange thread to get pulled back up? Has there been a mention of him that I missed?

Actually he has been drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters and very recently he was on TV for a brief period ...

    Kentucky Sports Radio

A brief clip of the big guy as a potential Globetrotter...just fast foward to 4:00...the rest is unrelated to the big guy.

Obviously he has a much better time making the Globetrotter's than the NBA, as there as been another ridiculously tall (7,8") black guy, George Bell, who wasn't drafted by the NBA but was drafted by the Globetrotters. Hope him the best of luck as a Globetrotter!

  10. Actually he now weighs 285 lbs...but he nonetheless still looks skinny. But compared to Bol Shagari isn't that skinny...Bol is like 6 foot tall man stretched out to 7,7" but with the same horizontal dimensions. Alleyne is just a normally proportionate albeit skinny fellow.
