When is Joe going to start getting pissed at his teammates, being accountable for what he did, and hate losing?

Boston plays like a good team and the Hawks don't. 2 Steaks aside, the Hawks are the same terrible team they were a year ago. They play the same way they played last season and they sucked last season. You take away Boston's 19 game winning streak and they're still better than the Hawks. The Hawks are supposed to be a young improving team, but they're not making much progress when you look deeply into it.

This team is not good enough to challenge the #1-3 teams in the East.

The Hawks are good, play well at home, and are very athletic, but this does not translate into anything. We have no consistent 2nd scoring option and probably no 1st consistent scoring option.

If Sund is serious at all about winning, this summer he better dangle a package of Josh Smith (BYC will be up), Speedy (expiring), a 1st rounder, & trash / 2nd rounder for: Amare, Bosh, Nowitzki, or a lesser deal for someone like Zach Randolph. I.E. we need a post presence.

I don't buy into this garbage that we're still young. You can give Smoove or Marvin 5 more years to mature since they're just so young and they'll barely be better than they are now. I have no idea in hell why Marvin doesn't drive the ball to the basket more.

Only reason I watched the AS Game last night was to see him score. The AS games have become so lame, with LeBron and Kobe taking 90 % of the shots and trying to pad stats. There are hardly any alleyoops. The only good thing about the game was watching CP3s disgusting.

Anyway, wtf was Joe doing? He looks so lethargic in some of these games--hanging around the 3pt line....Dribbling and then passing away because he's too scared he'll turn it over or something. I'm sure Pierce and Allen (the d0ucheb@gs they are) were probably laughing at him.

-Marvin is quiet

-Mo is probably average

So that leaves me thinking Smoove (not a leader) and Flip are the two only consistently vocal players. Do you guys think we have a vocal leader (is it Bibby?)

Pretty good article from the normally grammatically-erroneously-discombobulated writing of Sekou.

Bibby loves Phoenix to no end. Hopefully Atlanta can be his home for the regular season til he retires. We will not find another better shooting PG to go with JJ in this league. Of course a deal of Bibby for Nash would be nice, but I want Bibby here.

It seems like so many people hate this guy because he is allegedly an awful commentator. I disagree with this notion. I think he knows the game very well and knows what he’s talking about and that he just repeats phrases that piss people off. The only glaring weakness in his commentary is he fumbles players’ names.

On top of that, he’s probably the only truly exciting basketball player to star for the Hawks in the last 25 years. This is true because Josh Smith is an athlete, not a basketball player.

So whoever hates on Nique needs to stop because he is truly a legend and is invaluable to this city.

JT breaking his hand means that Dallas is in need of a PG. We can send Acie Law back to Texas in exchange for Brandon Bass.

Bass would give us the backup big we need in order to make a serious playoff push. Simple move which could pay big dividends.

Quick talked about trade rumors that he's hearing that aren't in the media yet. He said the Blazers are talking to 2 teams right now. One is a minor deal with a Western Conference team that doesn't look like it'll get done. The other is a very serious deal with an Eastern team that the Blazers have had conversations with in the past that would bring a PG and a SF back that could push the Blazers into championship contention. The deal would involve Raef's contract and 2 players in the Blazers rotation, but no starters would be involved.

Thoughts about what team that might be?
