  1. Not sure if this belongs here but since we were in talks with the Bucks and Pistons have Jbrick, I figured people would be interested.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9522945/detroit-pistons-acquire-brandon-jennings-sign-trade-milwaukee-bucks-according-sources

Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com on Tuesday that the Detroit Pistons have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal that will net Jennings, a restricted free agent, a new three-year contract worth in excess of $25 million.

The Bucks will receive guard Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Viacheslav Kravtsov, two sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

  2. 6. Atlanta Hawks (2012-13 finish: 6th)

The general public probably responded to the Hawks' offseason with a resounding "meh," but there's a good chance that the post-Josh Smithera will pick up where it left off. Paul Millsap remains one of the more underappreciated players in the league (seriously, how did he sign for just $19 million?) and the rest of the core remains intact, including supersub Lou Williams, who missed the end of last season with a torn ACL.

The additions of summer league standout Dennis Schröder and Elton Brand should bolster their bid to crash the top-four party, but they'll happily take the sixth seed without Smith.

Do you guys think this is accurate? I love that they keep talking about Schröder and Millsap in a very positive light.

Also to clarify. we finished 6th in 2012/13 and they're predicting us in the 6th spot again.

  3. There's more to playing SF than hitting 3's. But Millsap has been a good 3pt shooter, he just doesn't take many. When I say that he'd get minutes at SF I'm talking maybe 10-12 minutes there a game at the most.

yeah... except that Millsap has actually played SF in the NBA and done well at it, in limited minutes.

Except he has, and has done it well.

Some of you guys like to type stuff without actually doing any research and it's really unfair to the casual fans here.

I see that he's played a few games at Small forward and his stats dropped? I'd love to see where he played small forward well (not being a d*ck, I would genuinely be happy if he could play it)

But things haven’t completely gone Millsap’s way over stretches. His role has switched from power forward, his preferred spot, to small forward and back. His scoring has dropped from a 17.3 average two years ago to 14.3. His shooting percentage, which over his career sits at 52 percent, is at 46. In the past 10 games, it’s at 40 percent.

  4. Why didn't we resign Ivan immediately?

I've always felt like he could be our starting small forward / back up PF. He can attack the rim, shoot mid-range, and hustles. There were numerous times where he looked like the best player on the team.

I don't keep up with everything so there might be a very good reason? I know he's had issues outside of the court.
