Going off memory, we traded Oubre for a Was pick and then traded that pick to NY for Tim H Jr.
Something like that.
That's right. Forgot about Timmy. Thanks for clarifying!

Can someone remind me what we received in return for the Oubre trade?

This wasn't a slight directed at you. During the entire summer league, people on these boards have been ragging on this guy and questioning his ability. He's doing what he is supposed to do; protect the paint, rebound and finish on his deep posts. Teams literally abandon the thought of driving in the paint when he is in the game. There is a huge difference when he is in the game vs when Costello or Ashley is manning the 5.
Sure, he has bobbled some passes and brought the ball down low at times, but he has shown a stark improvement in overall awareness on the basketball court. He had disrupted a ton of shots, and when he gets a post catch, it's over. He is also a very good free throw shooter for a big.
All in all, Edy has a lot of growing to do, but his upside is high. Like Gobert high... He has done nothing but improve. Definitely looks better than Moose last year, who got a lot of burn in the playoffs, in the summer league. The guy just needs playing time...
I agree with this. And I think Dwight is going to help him develop his game also. If he ends up making the impact in NBA games that Gobert makes then I think we will all be very happy.

Mannnn, Prince was hooping! 21 and 9 (in 24 mins) in just his second game on the team and wasn't willin. He was on the boards, getting to the line and hitting his free throws and created his shot at times. Active on the defensive end too. Dropped both of his looks from 3. +28... He's not a superstar but he's a damn good fit!
Bembry was steady. He looked a little shy with the ball the first half but made some plays in the second. Posterized Cauley-Stein which got me hype LOL! Excellent D also. Won his matchup against Richardson pretty easily. 14 and 5 with a +14
Edy... Man, can people shut the h@ll up about him not playing well? When Cauley-Stein was in the game (he was in foul trouble because of Edy) he DOMINATED him! Stein only got his 4 points when Edy hedged himself a little too far away from the basket. Edy also ran step for step with him up and down the floor. That's impressive... Does not have bricks for hands. He gathered 2 bad passes at his ankles to rise and dunk off pick and rolls plus had 3 steals. Dude was hoopin and argubly had a better game than Prince. 14, 9 and 3 steals with a +27 isn't too bad for a second rounder going against the 4th pick in 2015...
Just to be clear, not that it matters... I was referring directly to a string of plays in which Edy did not catch the ball and resulted in a TO. I wasn't referring to his play overall. But lets be honest - this game represents the best Edy we have seen thus far. Hopefully he can build on this performance.

All of the games are on replay it looks like on the WatchESPN app using AppleTV. I imagine maybe using other devices as well? Doesn't seem to be the case using iPhone though.
I take that back. Replays are on the WatchESPN app for iPhone also. Not the standard ESPN app though which only has live games.

Maybe Bud didn't like Humph crashing the boards for offensive rebounds and wanted him immediately on transition defense. That statement is mainly sarcastic but then again one of Bud's calling cards is getting back on defense. Keeping him on the bench ended up being a mistake.
Lets see if Dwight is expected to do the same. I hope not.

I just have a bad feeling we won't keep Humphries. I was very impressed by him.
Let's not forget that Humphries was in coach Bud's doghouse towards the end of last season for some unknown reason. Not sure he will be coming back.

I'm an Xfinity cable customer, so I just downloaded the free WatchESPN app on my iPhone. I'm in my own wifi, so quality is very high quality.its on espn3 too
Thanks! Now I need to just cross my fingers for a replay since I missed most of the game.

Anyone viewing online? I don't get NBATV.

No Sheldon?

Here is the real question and the only one that matters... Do we have a chance at Westbrook?

Wow. And to think we are currently maxed out of capspace. NBA is so messed up.

I was using Curry as another example of someone who sign a contract which became a huge bargain and were not going to give anykind of hometown discount in their next contract negotiations.
I understand that. Just joking around. No hard feelings.
-
lol, exactly.
Curry's negotiations next year will be pretty straightforward: "Pay me more than anyone in the league is making right now", and GS would be mad not to do it.
It's like comparing a fancy aged Gouda to soft cream cheese. But, I guess Al is our own fancy aged Gouda so we gotta love him.

I get the feeling the Hawks screwed themselves here. The damage has probably been done. Had they come with that offer from the start then this whole mess would be resolved by now. They wanted to be cheap from the start and it might cost them here. In Horf eyes he has been playing at a huge bargain over the last several years. Now he want to get payed. Just like Curry isn't going to go easy on the Warriors next offseason.
But Curry is an MVP with a ring and multiple championship appearances.

The biggest disappointment is Bud's GM skills or lack thereof.
Sad but true. It will completely debilitate us if it continues.

I don't get a chance to tune in to the Squawk nearly as much anymore unfortunately but reading a post like this makes me not feel quite as bad about it. WTF?

I love 2chainz, Kendrick, Meek, Future, Tyga and K camp a lot...I'd say those are my favs during this era...but I'll always be Pac, Biggie guy. If Pac's music doesn't give you chills, you aren't hearing it, you're listening to it but you aren't hearing it as quoted by Wesley Snipes in White men with Jimmy Hen
Picture me Rollin is my jam!

Listen to Gramatik a lot also. Great stuff. Do you listen to Flying Lotus, Doom or Aesop Rock? @JETSET

@Ruckus you would probably also love Nujabes. He's a producer from Japan that has passed away but he has a pretty epic catalog.
Definitely familiar with nujabes. His stuff is amazing. Didn't realize he died. That's sad. Checking out Oddisee now, really digging the 70s vibe.

Outkast is old school though. ATLiens is like 20 years old now. Or is that your point? Can't tell.
Which Hawk was more true to Atlanta?
