  1. I am in a 20 tema keeper league with IDPs.

    We only have 1 qb, 2 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, and 1 flex, 2 d, 3 lb, and 3 dbs.

We can keep up to 4 keepers from year to year, we only have to give up the pick 2 rounds higher (so if you drafted them in the 3rd, you would have to give up a 1st).

Are any of these guys worth keeping (the round next to them is what pick I would have to give up):

    Michael Floyd-2
    Jeremy Hill-3
    Darren McFadden-3
    Owen Daniels-16
    Vernon Davis-1
    Eddie Royal-17
    Phil Dawson-5
    Shaun Suisham-18
    Rashad Johnson-9
    Gerno Hayes-25
  2. I am not a Bobo fan (as stated here numerous times in the past) but the defense is the bigger issue this year and the last few years for Georgia.  Hopefully this was a dropped ball for the new DC.  I have more confidence in him after his run at FSU than our last couple.

The defense wasn't supposed to be good. You lose so much of your starting secondary and you will suffer.

The offense needs to step it up and pull most of the weight this year as the defense will suffer.

  3. The defense did look the bad. No pressure on the qb and LB's (supposedly a strong piece) missed coverage after coverage.

That being said, the offense needs to execute. settling for fg's won't win games, and missing them sure won't help things.

And why is UGA been naked the past two games?

  4. My wife is a Neuro ICU nurse so when I saw this I had her look at it to see if she could possibly take a guess at what it could be. She said that it sounded like "cauda equina". She said the only other thing she thought might be Guillain-Barre.

Just maybe a possibility if the doctors haven't already ruled it out.

  5. The XB1 was originally going to require a 24 hour check-in to verify game licenses. Every game was automatically installed to the hard drive and never needed the disc to be inserted again. YOu could digitally share your games with friends and they would always be available to you in the cloud. Today, due to the mindless mob, microsoft announced that they're dropping the 24 hour check-in, but they're also dropping the mandatory installs and the ability to digitally share your games with friends. You can still purchase games online and get some of those features, but disc based games work like they always have, ie. they have not evolved at all. FWIW, you were always able to buy and sell games, but there was a license transfer process. Now it's back like it always has been, no evolution there.

I think the cloud thing was a bit skewed anyway. You could share the games with friends however no two people could be playing it at the same time. You couldn't by COD and then loan it to me and both of us be playing COD at the same time.
  6. Equal ? If it was equal no plan would be needed to give certain people the upperhand over another. Just give the contract to the best design company and to the best construction company. Which minority ? Minority for the city of Atlanta or minority for the USA ? I thought woman were the majority ?

That whole part just smells like the airport concession fiasco all over again.

  7. This one really, really hurt. I hated the playcalling the two series before we tried to give Bama the game (note: running the ball and picking up some midrange to modest gains would be just fine). We got incredibly lucky and stopped Bama and had a chance to redeem ourselves. We weren't remotely lucky on the call reversal on the last drive (i.e., deserved it and as an aside I'm not sure why not a single pass interference call came when the Bama defenders hit the UGA receivers before the ball arrived over and over) but shooting ourselves in the head by not spiking the ball and making sure everyone was on the same page (i.e., only throw the ball in the end zone; if you aren't in already or have a clear path to the end zone just make sure the pass is incomplete on 2nd and 3rd down) and then having the brain fart is a stomach punch. Glad Georgia showed pride in this one and fought until the end but it is just very painful miss our shot at the top and fall to a 2nd rate bowl as a result of a single pass being tipped or not.

The officiating was bad. I find it hilarious that on the bama boards they are saying how the refs were favoring UGA (a td that should have been called). I thought the spots were bad...but that could have been because i was in the upperdeck. The hit on Murray when he was clearly out of the play should have been a penalty, it was Nick Fairley esque. It also seemed that they held a lot for no-calls. It was a 7 to 2 penalty difference. That being said, a lot of people are bashing the defense for not being able to stop the run. Yes the defense should have been better, but they were tired. The offense had several quick 3 and outs and as a result, the defense had to play may more than was necessary. Yet we could push the ball when we needed to in a 2-minute offense...the logic of Mike Bobo.On the last play. Yes the ball was tipped but Murray should have spiked it. It is easier to spike it and take your shots in the endzone.Very disappointing loss.
  8. Uh, Aaron did not find out about his fathers medical condition until after the game. There is literally no possible way to blame his poor performance on something he knew nothing about.

You really think that he had no idea something was up with his father? Of course they "officially" told him on the Sunday after it, because if they would have come out and said he was told before there would be calls to tar and feather whoever told him.
  9. Murray looked horrible. It looks like he is still feeling it from the South Carolina game (which I feel was partly due to his father). The defense can only do so much and luckily they were going up against an offense that would struggle anyway (Florida is defense first). I would understand if Murray just couldn't get anything done but all 3 of his ints were on him and not his receivers. Bad throws constantly. He needs to figure out what is wrong.

  10. This moves makes zero sense. Jacksonville was 32nd in total offense last season. Apparently the guy is known for his passing attack, but Jacksonville has been a horrible offense team for several years. I guess it is wait and see. If we can put up some points then it might be a success. If we struggle to score points and move the ball (I'd like to see more of a passing attack as well), then this will be placed squarely on Smith.

  11. Mitchell (the freshman WR) had a pulled hammy and didn't practice in the week leading up to Florida. If he is back, then it is great. However I am happy with the emergence of Conley and Bennett in the passing game as guys who are reliable.

If Richt wins out, I think he keeps his job. 4 games left on the schedule, and all 4 are winnable. Tech and Auburn are the scary ones, but Kentucky looked bad against Miss. State so atleast they are easy games leading up to the big 2 left. I think most UGA fans know we don't have a chance against LSU or Bama, but just getting to the game would show we have improved greatly this year.

The problem I see is special teams. Drew hasn't done well, and kick-off defense has been horrible. Walsh can't hit the broad side of a barn, and Auburn and tech could easily come down to hitting a 50 yard FG or a 20 year chip shot. Either Walsh needs to come around or Bogotay needs the start. I have read that Richt is sticking with Walsh, which is a scary.

  12. I'm not sure that West Virginia to the SEC is a done deal. West Virginia isn't a huge t.v. market. Add on top of that their weak academics and you will struggle with them. Can they put out a decently competitive team in several sports? Yes, but that doesn't run the conference.

I would figure Texas A&M and Missouri would be the SEC's first choices. Just move Auburn to the East and add the two of them to the West. If you are going to further expand to 16 teams total, then it is more interesting about who gets an invite. They could always try and pluck some ACC teams away.

  13. Boise controlled the game. As what happened with the defense, I am willing to cut them some slack. Boise ran no-huddle much of the time and due to the offense being horrible, they never got a break. But CTG needed to see that the front 3 weren't getting any pressure and blitz more. Plus it seemed that we were playing a lot of zone. Cover 2 zone didn't work with CWM, it's not gonna work now.

But Bobo does need to go. I wonder if by firing Bobo, Richt could possibly save another year. If we go 0-2 to start, Richt needs to take the playbook away from CMB. It is the same plays year after year. The same draw plays up the middle for no gain. Aaron Murray hanging onto the ball for way too long (partially the line's fault, some Murray). The team looked a lot worse than last year. You have a big bruising back, but you run him to the outside. You have a fast, speedy back and you run him up the middle. You have a huge 80 year run, you never run that again.

If Richt is gone, Smart is likely on the top of the list. I have heard some fans who want Dan Mullen from Mississippi State. I'm not sure he would come.
