Parsons is 6'10 with above average handles, vision, shooting, and is not as bad on D as most suggest. Remember when he first got minutes in Houston he was a supposed defensive stopper according to Rockets fans at the time.
I know I want Parsons I was talking to supes

I am not a big fan of Parsons. At the end of the day, I don't see a great or good fit but a decent fit. For his pricetag, I think that might be too much to chew.
Then who do u suggest ??

I hope so cuz it just show he's screwed up on last years draft.

Sign Deng, then our roster is complete:
Deng / Carroll / Patterson
Millsap / Scott / Payne
Horford / Antić / Muscala
Teague / Mack / Schröder
Korver / Williams / Jenkins
Complete for what?? First round exit??

The other part to that is that Dennis is a traditional hotdog. I know.. he's young. However, I think Bud really hates that. First he's not giving Bud exactly what he wants and second when he does get in, he hotdogs and doesn't play soundly. It might be too big of a stretch for a player that's traditional like Dennis to do the things that Bud wants. The other question is speed. Whether it's Teague, Parker, Mills, even Avery J (to some extent), Bud likes a PG with Speed. Those guys can break down defenses.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong but are you saying Patty Mills has speed ?? The same guy they call Fatty Mills???
And Avery J wasn't fast at all he was a floor general that's why his nickname was the little general.
Parks has speed and so do we in Teague
In we can develop him we'll have out floor general in Dennis

The myriad of awards that the NBA hands out only to players they've deemed as "stars"?
Which award? That means you'd have to award a guy a max contract for balling out on the final year of his last contract

I've never seen what all the fuss was about with this dude. He cannot set the tone defensively, which is what max players have to do in addition to being a clear team leader in order to vault their squad into a true contender. The only max quality he has is the ability to drop fiddy and get to the line 10+ times. Being willing to leave Phil and his undisputed championship know-how (let alone 30 million more greenbacks) tells you all you need to know about the man.
Phil hasn't done anything from the office. So who knows if he is any good. Now if he was coaching that's a different story. Him leaving 30 shows he wants to win.
I don't want to him to go to the Heat but if he did I'm sure he'd buy into the D system and turn up his.

the way the could fix it is you have
1 max contract per team
Then 1 contracts of 10-12 mil
Then 3 contracts of 5-7 mil
Then the rest under 5 mil
Wade or Melo would only make 10 - 12 a year and bosh Wade/Melo making 7
They would never play for that

Kobe Bryant made more this year in just NBA salary than Duncan, Parker and Ginobili combined.
They should make a Kobe Bryant provision, no star can accept less than their max, that'll show those pesky Heat!
That makes no sense. Who is to determine who's a star?

Good, that will mean Heat won't win. Melo brings a team down.
How do you figure??

Why would he waste 2 years here? if Lebron stays he stays if Lebron goes he'll go to the Thunder ......(I think)

My take is that the difference between them offensively this season was about as big as the difference defensively. That puts them in coin flip territory. Given that George is the only representative from the East's #1 team and the Knicks couldn't come close to .500, you have to give George the nod.
I can respect that. Good point

Paul George put up his stats on the #1 team in the East, Melo put his stats up on a team that couldn't even make the playoffs in a ridiculously down year for the East.
That's all that matters here.
And Kevin Love made the team

George had a better season then Melo and deserved the third team entry
Sorry it took so long but no he didn't
Melo more points & shot better %
Rbs 1.3 better
Ast .5 less
Stl .7 less
Blk .04 better
In the end IMO Melo should be on the team

The team was better I agree...best record in the East but so was George
Huh?

He's a great rebounder. Has a good shot too. However, let me see it make a difference.
Exactly!!

I read somewhere that the hawks are tied to Phillips for like 30 years or something like that
