  1. Just had a discussion about AAU ball at work last week. I truly believe that AAU is killing the game of basketball as far as some pro players go i should say. To much to discuss on this board but these guys that play AAU ball like Dwight and Josh are not learning some of the basics. It's almost like they're out there playing a game of 21 sometimes. 2. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't want Bynum and those horrible knees anywhere near Philips Arena. NBA history tells me never trust a Center with knees like his. I'm not saying Bynum is a bad player but he's to injury prone for my liking. We're trying to build here in Atlanta not experiment with guys who can't even practice let alone play because his knees are always giving him problems. Sent from my SCH-R530M using Tapatalk 2

  3. I like how Harris played for the hawks this season, but I'm always skeptical about a guys performance during a contract year. He's to injury prone but he does give you a lot when he's on the floor. I'm leaning more toward letting him walk and look at free agency.

  4. I actually liked Deshawn in some of the situations we put him in this season's. He can hit the 3 ball if you give him enough room and forget he's on the floor. Would like to know how the hawks did him wrong though.

  5. I say Van Gundy, he's had a year off and fresh now now. Hard working coach with a respected past. The game has passed Jerry Sloan, I think Rivers takes time off if he leaves Boston. This Hawks team doesn't need an unproven head coach if they go after Brian Shaw.

  6. There is no WR in the league that Revis can't shut down. There's a reason he makes 13 million per season. I've seen him absolutely dominate some if the best WRs in the game. You don't hear as much about him because QBs don't even challenge him that often, that's how good he is! They call it Revis island because the defense can shift help to the other side if the field as he can stay locked up 1 on 1 with the best WR on his side if the field with no help.

I get why people say he is the best corner since Deion but the NFC south is a totally underrated division with good QB's and with Revis coming off an ACL injury I think that Matt Ryan and Drew Brees and other QB's are going to throw at him now unless he shows the ACL injury didn't slow him down. Now I'm ready for football season

  7. Haven't seen much of Revis because I don't follow the Jets. Haven't heard much of Revis Island lately until this trade went through. He better be ready for this NFC South cause he played against a lot of weak teams in that AFC east over the years (Miami and Buffalo) and now he's gotta get up against Roddy or Julio twice, see Drew Brees twice and and even Josh Freeman isn't that bad of a passer when his game is on. Tough comp coming up for Revis, he will be tested.

  8. I think the article was reaching a bit, I like Teague and this team in my opinion still isn't completely put together for Teague to be that big of difference maker. Just like I wanted to see what Josh Smith did this season with new players around him before shipping him off, I'm willing to see what Teague does next season with new players around him next season.

  9. Loved Grimes and wish he could have stayed here for at least one more season just to see if he could still play at the high level he played at before the past 2 seasons where he was injured. I think he'll be OK in Miami though but I think he burned out his welcome with Falcons management when they could never come to terms on a deal.
