While I wouldn't say Diaw and Splitter are very good players or even close to it, I would say we didn't have enough productive bench players and we don't have the starters who can play above their level which is needed in the playoffs.
huh? diaw was arguably the finals mvp last year and without a healthy splitter the spurs got ousted in the first round this year

Basketball town? Check. Hawks town? Uhhhh....
we sold out phillips arena in our 2 home games right? that's about a total of 38,000 less people watching on TV. and after going down 0-2 it makes sense not to watch anymore. not that big of a deal and easily explainable imo

horford is a complementary piece at best. he will never be a go-to guy

we know

please bring in walter...all i want for christmas is a 7'3 beast
-
umm, lebron could hypothetically rely on steroids because his game is based on driving and over-powering people. hes not a shooter at all.
he is rajan rondo with a body that can he score with. take away his roids and thats what he is

Walter wouldn't be getting punked by Thompson on the boards. and LeBron would think twice about his drives with a 7'3 7'9 wingspan athletic monster in the paint.
-
Take away LeBron's body and you got Rajan Rondo

hes not wrong
he did win us the series
his old ass failing to box out sap is what led nene to jump over to get a body on paul to cover for him...
leaving al with no one one him to stop him from getting the rebound
wish i could be a fly on the wall for that film session

News flash, if you want to be safe from all harm, lock yourself away in your house and never go outside. And even then a plane might fly into your house, so ya never know, do ya?
You say there is no victim blaming, then turn around and exactly blame the victim with, "he had not made said bad decision, he wouldn't be in his current position, no matter what your opinion of the cops is."
So exactly what bad decision? Going out to a club to experience some nightlife is not a bad decision. It's a reasonable expectation of a "good time" by most sane people if you are a person so inclined to consider that activity a good time. They didn't go out into a situation asking to be put in trouble. They didn't ask the police to break his freaking ankle. You're probably the kind of guy that blames a woman getting harrassed simply on what she wears. Learn the definition of victim blaming...
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that you were the person in charge of passing judgement on everyone else, what to consider acceptable behavior.
the problem isn't just going to the clubthe problem isa) doing on a back to backb) getting involved in something you have no ties or reason toc) trying to go super saiyan on the copsi could care less if they go to the club. but he has to act better. also, doing it on a back to back irks me and I shouldn't have to explain why.it's not "victim blaming" it's common sense.and no buddy, I do not agree with the harassment of women. people can wear what. they want you gonna provide a reason for that comment or was it just a lame non-sequitur? -
news flash, if he wasn't out at the club on a back to back he wouldn't be in this spot.
see, critical thinking would suggest that, he had not made said bad decision, he wouldn't be in his current position, no matter what your opinion of the cops is.
all on Thabo and the other players that went. there's no victim blaming lol, he was just being an idiot.
lets also mention he has literally no ties to copeland and was only there to get in people's way.
it's his fault.
if we truly want a spurs culture, that shit has got to be stopped.
Parker got an eye cut in a club fight a few years ago and learned his lesson. hopefully this will do the same.

Lol since when are Bazemore, Dennis, and Mack scrubs? You can make a case for Antić and Jenkins but please. All three of those guys have stepped it up this when their number has been called.
Al went 4/18, three of our most key players were out, and we were in the toughest building to play in the NBA. But we lost "because we play garbage players" give me a break guy...

"f*** yo plan Coach Bud"-Jeff Teague tonight
-
Sometimes I think you guys are nuts..Daye has been nothing but trash since the came in the league
-
That was a nice finish, but Dennis has to quit that stuff.
I personally love what he did. He's not gonna back down from anyone and he'll let the league know it. Remember how he got into LeBron's head during the last CLE game? Dennis's cockiness and toughness brings a unique element that we need. MJ had the same kind of personality. He'd get into his match-up's head with the talk and make him think it was a one-one competition between them two. That completely took away his opponent's whole team aspect. Dennis can do the same with his irritating play on defense.

Dennis's tech is play of the game

Great win!
My only complaint was that Dennis was being a bit of a jerk when we were up big. The kid was playing great then he started to be an ass-h_le.
Have respect for teams you are beating (hopefully AL and Paul will give him a "talking to")
Otherwise - great win - GO HAWKS !!
As long as it isn't overly dirty, I don't mind Dennis being a jerk. We need some nasty on this team. Example would be how he and DeMarre got into LeBron's head against the Cavs. We need someone who's cocky and won't back down. Funny it's one of our smallest players.
