  1. Listen to me and no one else on the squawk unless they are saying something similar......

This Hawks team is TIRED!!!! They are fuc*ing TIRED!!!!...and that's not an excuse just because I'm a Hawks fan like you...no! no! no!....our Hawks team that is 40-9 are truly tired!

I know they aren't the old age Spurs! I know they haven't had many back to backs lately but they are tired and need rest! The all star weekend need to get here because our guys are burned out.

I'm worried about our games this week only because the team is tired...once they rest up we can start talking about another streak to be made

AND we have a winner!!!!!  GO HAWKS!!!

  2. Man, i sure hope so. Our guys just seemed really off the other night vs. NO, and not only that but they also looked gassed. Very little pep in their step, missing easy shots, not passing the ball or moving as much as usual, etc. Hopefully they can bounce back. Especially since I'm going to the game and i want to see them hitting on all cylinders.

This is what I noticed the most......the NBA schedule is a grueling one.    GO HAWKS!

  3. My thoughts are these:

    Stephen A. is right... Unfortunately.

Like I said in another post, Lebron has gone and got his doping right.

The problem with Cleveland is that they don't play defense.   Blatt hasn't changed that. The question is can we take advantage of it.  Sir Teague looks mighty good.  i can see him abusing Irving all night.  I worry about having a rover like Lebron following Korver and filling passing lanes. I honestly believe that last year against the Spurs, biogenesis was so bogged down with what was going on with Baseball that Lebron couldn't get his REUP.  However, he blatantly took time off so that he could redope this year. We have to face a guy who is on all the steroids in the world and he will have all the ref help.

My one hope is this.  My hope is that Adam Silver is better than David Stern.  My hope is that Adam Silver mandates that the refs call it right.  It's hard to judge after only one year but I want to say that Silver isn't a Stern clone and he won't do everything for ratings, but he's a basketball purist and he wants to see the best team win.  If that's the case, I think we can beat Bane and his minions from Cleveland.

This is what I hope for as well..........  The fact the Stephen A. even mentions this is proof enough that most are aware that it occurs but chooses to look the other way or give it the shoulder shrug.  The Hawks simply need to continuing playing like they are playing and get there first.   GO HAWKS!!!!!

  4. It's that big of a deal though.  Retaining Ferry could easily be the difference in a title or not.  People underestimate the power of a good GM and Ferry has been excellent.

A GM that is on the same page with the Head Coach is invaluable.....want an example of when this doesn't  happen?   See the Atlanta Falcons, my other team.  (I can talk  about them cuz I'm STH x12yrs)  GO HAWKS!!!

  5. I think it was the Celtics game. They even mentioned it when we played them a week or so ago that things turned around when we erased that 23? point deficit.

And you nailed the YouTube video, something many of the long timers around here still haven't figured out.

I have to cosign with Dolfan; this game convinced the team not only could they come back, but surge ahead and win against anybody!

  6. Bulls seem to have a nasty habit under Thibodeau of overexerting their starters in the regular season, with them either injuring themselves or running out of gas during the playoffs.

Jimmy Butler, averaging the most minutes this season close to 40.   Was near the top in minutes last year too.  He has not been the defender he once was because of this.

Now Gasol is playing 36 minutes a game... that too is unsustainable.

These guys will yet again be worn out come April.  They will not be able to keep up with our ball movement and fast breaks even if they got to us.

That's what happens when you don't play team ball, but insist on a "go-to" guy!
