Asik is not a wise move on a team that is not great offensively. Asik is a great rebounder but remember Houston was #1 in pace. He has butter hands and is awful on offense. Not unless we sign Dwight OR Zaza signs for close to the vet min. Anything more and he's really not worth it. I love Zaza and all but we can't afford to overspend on marginal talents like him.

How often do centers who can give you quality minutes sign near the vet minimum (who also aren't 38 years old)?

The people killing this move need to realize Ferry isn't done and this is part of a plan that will hopefully fall into place by the end of the next offseason.

Guys, he is just a role player for this team. He will giving us a scoring threat off of the bench which will be very nice to have. Don't make it out to be more or less than it is.
