It's claer you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Atlanta is the youngest team in the NBA by a whole 2 years over Portland. How's their record? Yeah that's what I thought. Boris Diaw did not fit in ATL. He never would have. The reason he produces in Phoenix as well as no names like Raja Bell is because of that system. Joe Johnson was a part of that system but he has proven he can succeed outside of it in one of the most difficult situations in the league. Not bad for his first year here! What! Joe Johnson fits in with the Hawks and can succeed outside of the Suns? Of course he can. First of all, the Suns knew Joe had talent and wanted to resign him. Second, anyone can score when they play on this team. Come 'on....even little Tye can be a threat on this team. Who else is going to score?? I think Greg Anthony once said that anyone can be a scoring threat on the Hawks because of the lack of talent and bench play. Boris didn't fit in because he didn't get to play and our wonderful coach just can't coach. He stinks! Joe is a scoring machine regardless of what team he plays for. It took him awhile to adjust to the NBA and be the player that he was. Bryan Colangelo recognized the talent in Joe when he played for the Celtics and signed him to a deal. He was right. Joe didn't develop into the player he is now until the 2003 season when the Suns missed the playoffs and Frank Johnson started him the last 20+ games of that season. Joe averaged around 20 points the last 20 games of 2003. D'Antonni took over and kept Joe in as a starter the next season and he grew as a player because of it. Joe is a solid player regardless of what team he is on. He can be a starter for any team at any time. Also, the system in Phoenix is because of one player, Steve Nash. Steve and D'Antonni have a chemistry like Walsh and Joe Montanna. Who makes the team go? Steve or Mike, or in this case maybe both. Bottomline, D'Antonni is a great coach but the system slows without Steve. Joe started the last 20 games in 2003 with Starbury at the point, and he averaged around 20 pts a game with the ballhog and selfish player that Stephon is. Don't tell me that Raja is a scrub, because he was a good and solid player with Philly. Again, Bryan Colangelo recognized the talent and signed Raja. Atlanta need a GM like that...too bad he is in Toronto now, because I would bet any amount of money that Toronto has a better record than us next year. You watch what this Colangelo guy will do for that team. Hell, he might sign one of our players and make him the next Boris Diaw. Imagine that!

Joe Boris PPG 20.2 13.5 RPG 4.1 6.8 APG 6.6 6.0 FG% .456 .527 MPG 41.0 mins 35.5 mins Yes, everyone thought both Boris and JJ would be nothing without Nash. Joe and Boris both do well without Nash. Boris excels despite Nash's absence in a few games this year, especially in tonights game where Boris had a career high in assists and a triple double. Joe played a great game tonight. He actually had more assists than his average this year with a total 9 assists and 35 points. The problem with Joe and company is that Joe has no consistent support on a nightly basis from his teammates.

What a frickin stud...this guy is unbelievable...in the right system and this guy is shining...WOW!! I guarantee he gets more triple doubles this year than Joey boy!! Is Belkin the lost long mvp of the team...time will tell, but my money is on Boris...thoughts?
