Just a couple of thoughts and questions. I noticed that when the Hawks do a pick and roll that instead of attacking the basket the guard pulls that ball back out to the three point line and farther. Is this intentional or do we not have point guards who are confident enough to make a move/pass. It seems to me that it is more of decoy to set up another play. New Jersey showed us last night what can happen when they used their athleticism and attacked. Is the hope that Law can become the type of point guard that will attack off the pick and roll and either take it strong or make a good pass to the cutter? I did not get to watch the game last night due to the fact that some idiot thought the people of Montgomery would rather watch Tennessee football replay, but I did notice in the Detroit game that Sheldon Williams does not step out and challenge guards that attack the basket. He kept stepping back until he was under the basket and by then it was too late. If we are going to be an athletic, fast team then why put someone in who does not fit that profile. Is he really that much better then S. Jones. At least S. Jones can athletically challenge shots and get out and run. I am exited about this team and I like everyone we have. But you can have all the ingredients to make Baked Alaska, but if the baker can’t put it together then you just end up with a dish of melted ice cream.

I checked my programming for my cable and it said the Hawks were on at 6:30 on Sport South. Instead the Fullmer show was on and now the replay of the Tennessee game from Saturday is on. Does anyone know why this is? I live in Montgomery and finnaly got cable so I could watch the Hawks this year. Is it normal for Sports South to not show the Hawks game?
