Dwyane Wade is killing us, and Joe Johnson has no kind of response whatsoever.

Joe Johnson has only played well one time during this whole series. I've seen enough. Joe Johnson needs to be traded.

As long as Josh Smith keeps doing his job and the hawks keep winning I don't really care

I think we should try to get one of these guys if we trade up-

Ricky Rubio- Even if we have to move up to get him I think it may be worth it for his talent with running a team. He's got great defense and is really mature on the court for his age.(And his expirience from the olympics doesn't hurt either.)

Brandon Jennings - I'm a huge fan of his and I think that he has a Iverson type quality that he brings on the offensive end (as in scoring easily) and in transition that can really help. He also has great court vision (Pistol Pete-Esque) and on-ball defense.

Hasheem Thabeet- He's 7'3 and we could cause quite a scare with someone his size down-low put together with Al and J-Smoove could probably lead the league in blocks. (He even has the Mutombo comparison)

If we don't trade up I'd settle with-

Ty Lawson- Dude got Crazy speed and if he falls I wouldn't be mad if we picked him up

Stephen Curry- I can't say I really want him but he hits shots easily. We could use a good scorer like him any day.

Tyreke Evans- He's got good athleticism and he could possibly make a Derrick Rose type impact so he could fit our squad.

B.J. Mullens- I'd be alright with him just because we need a 7 Footer

I'd also be satisfied if we got Eric Maynor or Jeff Teague

I think we should keep him because losing another Josh would hurt us even more.

As the team gets better hopefully the coaching staff will too but when we played Boston we did better when we played with no real plays it was just us doing watever.

You should watch the games and not the stats. Marvin's offensive game isn't as diverse as Smoove. You can't see that in a stat sheet.

But Marv is a pure shooter and he doesn't get the ball enough to show it

True Woody should start to try to get it into Smiths head that he can take a three every single time! A three here or there wouldn't hurt but he should make the players around him better by setting up plays for them.

I think we should do whatever it takes to get Smith theres no doubt he's improving and he's only 22. As he matures and get more intelligent on the floor he could be even more of a killer than he is already. He has a great skill set and can do it all.( Not to mention he's the hometown hero)

I find his PER stat to be unreliable and overrated. It overvalues volume shooting and undervalues efficient scoring. So if Hollinger is just basing Evan's play through PER then I don't find it to make much sense. But chances are that Hollinger has seen Evan's play and isn't basing it off of stats especially since he did not make reference to PER.

Yeah but I'm not gonna really talk about Evans being a downgrade becauase this season he could light it up just as well as J-chill did. because the system in Orlando is diffrent from ours so you never know the diffrence they could have in play.

He's definitely plenty scary to me ... like when he gets the ball around the 3pt line and I'm screaming no Josh don't take that shot you never know what he's gonna do. Take it and swish it, take it and air ball it, or drive for a bucket.

Hollinger lives in Atlanta and goes to every home game. I think he would have a pretty good grasp of what kind of player Childress was just from watching all the games. However, if Hollinger pointed to his overrated PER then that would be a different story. Hollinger did not refer to PER at all, so I believe he was talking about watching his play.

Then Him saying that Mo Evans wasn't as good a player doesn't make much sense because he'd be judging from stats right?

I think its just what happens with guys like Hollinger or other scribes out of state who just look at numbers. His numbers were good for a 6th man. But they didn't see the total worth as we as fans can. Played out in wins and losses I think not having chillz will cost us exactly zero games we'd have won with him.

I agree I think Childress is replaceable though he is a great player I think Mo Evans can do just a good
