  1. Trade Teague. Trade Al. Trade Milshap. None of these players are going to take this franchise anywhere. Trade them for draft picks an/or expiring contracts, and build through the draft (this is a good one to start). I've been a Hawk fan since 2001, and this has been the most boring season I've ever sat through. Start over.

  2. Free Mike Budenholzer!

In all seriousness, if it turns out he was blasted, and still decided to take his car on the road, putting not only himself, but others at risk he should be fired. Drunk driving seriously needs to stop. I don't care what he did/does in his home, but when you put others in danger that is a problem. He should have just taken the test, and if he was under the limit we would have never heard about it. He probably refused because he knew he wouldn't pass it. In any event, this is awful PR for a team having an awful offseason as far as I'm concerned. I hope we end up getting the real story, and this is resolved quickly.

By the way, our coach can't afford to fix his taillight? lmao

  3. Boston tanked back in 06-7 for the first pick (thought to be Greg Oden). They ended up with the 5th pick, which they traded for KG, and Ray Allen. They won the Ship the next year

As someone said, the Spurs tanked for Duncan.

    The Colts tanked for Luck.

The Cavs tanked for Lebron (Although they sucked anyway)

The point is, you need Superstars in this league to win, simple and plain. You can get lucky like OKC (who also tanked) and draft 3 great players, or you have to pull a Miami and again tank, get a ton of cap space, and bring in superstars. The OKC thing happens once every 10 years. #TankForSomebody

  4. Yea the "fans are terrible" especially one's that still aren't satisfied in signing top free agents like Korver and Millsap... I can't wrap my head around that. You guys are killing me with this stuff. Please be patient... Ferry is not done yet.

Korver and Millsap are nice players. They aren't "top free agents".

  5. I saw this coming. I knew at the end of the day we were going to end up with Paul Millsap, and whatever trash the Rockets want to give us for Josh Smith, What I can't wrap my brain around is why on Earth nobody wants to play here, The fans are terrible, but Atlanta is a great city. Its the New York of the South. It isn't Birmingham. It isn't Memphis. Its Atlanta for heavens sake, and nobody worth a damn wants to play here. I hope this ends this nonsense about saving money in hopes of landing somebody via Free Agency. Its not going to happen, Maybe before my grandchildren die of old age, maybe. The Millsap addition might allow us to compete for he 7th seed, thus giving us no shot at Wiggins, or anybody good in the upcoming draft, which is the only way we're ever going to build this team. Then again, maybe we can overpay Monte and rob Danny Ainge at gunpoint for Rondo. I need a beer.

  6. Our real downfall this year was the lack of a solid wing defender like Marvin on the floor. It took Josh Smith to try and stop Paul George. Smoove is a terrible wing defender, and yet he still did the best job out of anyone else on the roster. We could have easily put Teague-Korver-Marvin-Smoove-AL on the court and still had enough offense to put the ball through the hoop, and enough defense to stay competitive. Shame.

  7. Soo with another disappointing Atlanta Hawk season behind us, the only reason I have any faith in this franchise is Danny Ferry. I think we should and will push hawk for CP3. I think its more likely that we get Dwight than CP3 to be honest though. I think its less likely that we get neither of them. However, in a perfect world we would resign Smoove, and sign Dwight and CP3. We could either trade Horf to save cap space, or we could simply not resign Smoove. IMO Horf>Smoove but I don't know if anybody would be that excited to play with Al Horford alone.

    Soo we get

    Dwight- Zaza

    AL- Ivan

    Smoove- KK

    Lou- Draft Pick/Bum

    CP3- Free Agent pick up

That starting 5 is the best in the league, and we become contenders. Also, we have to let Drew go. Nothing personal, but he is slightly above average at best. GO AND GET NATE MCMILLIAN. That roster is better than Maimi and in 2014 the Atlanta Hawks win the NBA Championship!!

  8. Chicago - Without Derrick Rose they are slightly above average. It depends on how the seeding works out, but if we face them in the first round I like our chances. Their guards are garbage. Teague seems to like playing against them

Indiana - I think the Pacers are a good team, but a little overhyped. I love Paul George, but Hibbert is a bum for the most part imo. He is a poor mans Dwight, and without anybody to really set him up he is below average. Again, their guard play is so so, and if they try to make Granger or George play the 2 against us, well that would be atrocious.

The Nets- A part of me hopes to good we play the Nets in the first round, and smash them. Deron Williams is a scrub. Those 12 points and 6 assists are the most overrated 12 and 6 in NBA history. Ya'll already know about Joe. I like their team overall, as far as Gerald Wallace, Lopez, Kris etc, but I don't think they are equip for the playoffs. Other than Wallace they are soft.

Thats it. I think Boston would smash us, the Heat would kill us, and I even think the Bucks would find a way to make us beat ourselves. I have never been so depressed about going to the playoffs.

  9. I'm sure you're just fishing but since when did Marvin become a guy who could create his own shot? And anyone can take it to the hole and fall awkwardly! And 20/10? Seriously?? I'll miss Marvin because he's a classy guy and a hard worker on the court but I won't miss having that much salary tied up in a player who isn't worth that much. I hope he really breaks out in Utah though!

Salary? Marvin is an above average player making the average NBA salary. Thats a bargin if you ask me. And yes he can create his own shot. He just never had the ball a lot here. I've seen him do it off the dribble several times when he was a legitimate option on the floor, which wasn't often.

  10. You have a great defender, a guy that can take it to the hole, knock down the 3, and create his own shot in Marvin Williams. Its sad he never had a shot to do that here in Atlanta with guys like Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford chucking every trip down the court. I really hope he gets to be himself in Utah. A 20-10 guy from the 3/4 spot.

  11. Easily do better? This is your problem. You are shortsighted. You don't get a SG that can take on the double team, play good defense, score around 20 and is a model of efficiency and say you can easily do better?Maybe on your Xbox, you're conquering the world with Gerald Green or Landry Fields.. but you're not going to easily do better than Joe. I think you fail to realize that Joe's contributions help the overall team's ability. Maybe you don't understand the value of a guy who can create his own shot who is not a chucker? But you will learn. You will learn.More than likely though... once the lesson is given, you won't be around to accept it.

About 3 years ago I would have agreed.
