A lot of these comments sound like the opposite of some of the comments about Horford's best position.
Collins is best as a PF. Bud playing him at center is just another moment of Bud's stubborn attempt to fit a square peg into triangle.

So what you're saying is... that Atlanta fails in the FAcy.
Is the FAcy a better option than relying on the draft? Sure if you can attract the free agents that make a difference. If you can't, the draft is your best option.

I feel like Baze is to blame for this. I'm not sure how... But he must be...

He should definitely play over Moose, at the least. Bud probably won't do that but I would.
-
Let's be honest, C-viv doesn't really care about the Hawks and the AJC probably forgot that they have him writing in the basement.

All Star? Baze?
Baze is just a charismatic Mo Evans and you're talking about possible all Star?
Idk man...

So you'd rather keep Baze or.... ?
If so, that's gonna be a no for me, dawg.

I totally understand what your saying but we can't turn to a rookie to play backup pg for us with less than a month left in the regular season and into the playoffs. Specially one that we haven't really groomed.
Are we suddenly championship contenders or something?

START NEXT SEASON NOW!!

We might have Giannis if not for Ferry and his decisions.
I jest. Kinda but not really.

When are they really ever?
Non-story!

So we've done this to him twice now. What reason does he actually have to resign in the off-season? Sure we want him here but if he wants a ring, I don't think he's going to get it with this team.
Also, how did Horford lie? Did he promise to resign here? He looked like he was gone two seasons ago.

Sometimes I feel like they should rename this team "The Atlanta Face Palms." Because... Well...
Yea...

1. Late 1st Rd Draft pick in 2021
2. Ricotta Cheese.
3. Lasagna pasta
4. Prego pasta sauce
5. Mozzarella cheese
6. 1lb Ground beef or turkey
7. Mozzarella cheese.
8. Parmesan cheese
9. Romano Cheese
10. Texas Toast Garlic Bread
For Millsap.
Actually, Sap is an all-star. Make it Bertolli pasta sauce instead.
Get it done BudCox.

Did they? I mean I give him credit for being able to move Joe's contract (Stupid Nyets. Why couldn't they suck like they were supposed to!). Sure, he was no BK but who is? He [Ferry] was the best GM the Hawks have had in a good while, but his track record isn't exactly amazing.
Side note, I can't even remember the name of the GM we had before Ferry. Talk about impact!

What.... When has Bud truly had an opportunity to get elite overall talent? People on this board act like it is so easy to construct a roster and that there are just elite wing players laying around for free... Everyone just says "We need a wing that can play defense, handle the ball and score 15+ PPG". Yea just like all the 29 other teams would love to have one of those as well.. Then you also have to consider that we really don't have the greatest trade assets compared to a team like Boston.
-
A good trade is unlikely. If we sign any one, it'll be just a patch on this wheel. Sadly.
I'm starting to feel like Bud is afraid of elite overall talent for some reason. Even though he's seen it first hand.
Also, say we fell into the lotto and got one of these players. Would they even get to player over a player like Korver?
-
Bud is too close to the situation. I don't think the Hawks' brass have the balls to bring in an actual GM to challenge Bud. But even if they did have the avocados, who would answer the call? Would we just end up with another lame duck GM?

Neither.
WLOC'n all season baby!

Kinda.

We need to draft BPA. Preferably one that can dribble and create. Oh, and can be starter material in the nearest of futures.
It be nice if they had future AS talent too.

So... still don't see a need for a starter upgrade at the wing, eh?
