I feel the same way. Our team is not getting enough respect. We are building our team and we deserve to be represented! Lets Go Hawks!!

I bet half the league would want Joe Johnson.....your telling me Dallas wouldn't make a run at him? or Orlando? or maybe Chicago?
Listen, he's disgustingly overpaid.....but he's still an All-Star in this league and has very good trade value.
All the teams with money last summer wanted to sign him to max deals......let's not make him a liability quite yet just because we overpaid him by $30M compared to what Chicago or NY could offer him

i posted this in the wrong topic by mistake
check this out
John (Daejeon, South Korea)
How valuable is Horford in terms of trade assets, considering his position and that he is locked up for the next five years after this? He can score from the block or facing and doesn't need the ball much to be effective.
John Hollinger
And, since nobody has mentioned his name yet, he's also the answer to my item above. Al Horford leads all NBA big men in EWA this year -- not Howard, not Amare, not Gasol. And the top frontcourt combo? That would be Al Horford and Josh Smith. Atlanta's bigs are carrying them and it will be a shame if they miss the All-Star Game because a few doofuses still think it's Joe Johnson's "team", whatever that means.

this article sucks....but he has a point
This team is stuck in-between......we're built to win now but realistically we're not winning now anytime soon over Boston/Orlando/Miami......we're an above average nba team, but not great.....it's like we've been stuck on netural for the last 3 years
a few years ago, just being a guaranteed playoff team was great.......but now its gotten old

to Minnesota, KLove is untouchable
He's their best player, their building block, their leader, signed on his rookie contract for 2 more years & he's their most popular player

check out this from John Hollinger's chat on ESPN.com from earlier today

can't we just go back to the good ole days and bring back Nazr Mohammad !
(sarcasm)

I thought he was overrated in college
it's like dunking over LeBron made him a 1st round pic

I think I read somewhere that LD had to have a conversation with Josh about his poor shot selection......this was like a day or two ago
-
its a fresh of breadth air to see a player on our team hustle like that
-
why would he restructure?
the only reason he choose to resign during the summer with us is because of the extra $30M we were able to give him
comparing a leader like Peyton to JJ is like comparing.........
-
not sure I like the Augustin/Bibby PG combo for us......then again, not sure who I like for us ideally at point
-
how about Crawford to New Orleans for Okafor?
It's a heavy salary commitment for us since he's signed through 2014 for major money, but we get our big man
And for NO - getting Okafor's contract off the books, could potentially make them free agent players this upcoming summer

Spirit feels like a cold corporation......the trend is having more interaction between owners and fans, not less
the guys suck

"No. I wasn't cool with it man," said Williams to HOOPSWORLD about being benched.
MW messed up because it's about THE TEAM, not about him
his comments came off as selfish and entitled
OJ Mayo didn't say "it wasn't cool" when he lost his starting job. After Mayo lost his gig, his comments were all about helping the team..........and he's a much better player than MW and much more deserving of being a starter
