A win would be nice. I’m just stoked to watch what Code Reddish and The Hunter can do. See if The Huert picks up where he left off. Watch the IceTrae-to-JBap magic
Same. Here, cant wait to see these young guys.

I wonder if they will reconsider after losing to the freakin Sacramento Kings.

Im done with Moose. He either needs to bulk up and get physical or get out of the NBA.

The 70 million dollar man.. Kent Bazemore still hasn't shown up this season.
Maybe Bud should trade him too.

How does Milsap receive no blame? He was one of the worst performers tonight.

Believe we should add Prince in there as well because his trajectory is very high. Keep thinking about Pop and Buford drafting Kawhi Leonard based on Bud's exuberance over him. Bud gave up Jeff for this guy.
Did the Spurs trade George Hill for Kawhi?
George Hill was a huge fan favorite in SA if I remember correctly.

If Howard doesn't play well the Schröder/Hardaway Jr/Korver/Sefolosha/Millsap lineup will have to be the main lineup. At this point, Bazemore starting only needs to be in name, unless he's really playing well he doesn't need to play much at all.
That would be a terrible lineup. Millsap does not match up well vs centers in this league.
Heck, look at the future opponents. Whiteside, Vucevic, Henson, Towns, etc would aboslutely dominate the paint.

Yeah, this team is flawed. Bigly.
I mean when your system is designed around ball movement and 3pt shooting and you only have one 3pt shooter (who struggles to get open for the 3pt shots) then you're designed to fail already.
Well.. Moose and THJ can shoot the 3 pretty decently

Scott can also post up smaller players. he ca be effective if he is patient, when he hurries it's ugly.
Scott did say last night he is day to day, so hopefully he is back soon.
I always have viewed Scott as a SF rather than a PF.

He has but Scott is more talented offensively. Moose has been playing his role well but I just don't see him as an impact player. Scott isn't a 6th man candidate but has the potential to go off offensively in any given game. Since we don't have many of those types of players I'll take what i can get.
Honestly don't see a difference between the two. Scott likes to shoot 3 pointers which Moose is better at. With how well Moose has been playing lately, I don't see Scott overtaking him, he might eat some of his mins away though.

1st can we please give the young man more time?...since he is a first year "starter"
2nd this offense is not designed for the point guard position to be the "only" position to get the bigs involved as well as the rest of team.
You say:
"How can you set up a team with Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap - two of the most dominant inside players in the league over the last five years or so....and allow a kid from Germany just take charge and run around?"
But I say:
How can you put all the pressure on a kid from Germany as the "only true dribbler in the starting lineup" that can penetrate the lane and actually get around his opponents?...makes no sense! You want me to be the only player that's truly capable of driving the lane cause no one else in this starting lineup can do it without turning over the ball? So it's either ball is my hands as a first year starter or ...turnover/bad shot, you name it.
This is Schröder's 4th year.. the last 2 he has averaged ~20 mins per game. Why does he need more time? He needs to produce now because its year 4 not year 1.

You're correct.... Teams aren't scared shitless of Kyle's shooting like they were a few years ago. Moreover, what helped was that Carroll was shooting 40% of three's and he could put the ball on the floor enough to be a duel threat. He gave the Hawks something extra that they're no longer getting....Kyle and Baze are both stuck launching three's and other teams have adjusted to it.
Kyle will always be a sharpshooter. The problem is Bazemore and Schröder imo. Korver is averaging less than 30 mpg this season, THJ is receiving plenty of minutes as have Thabo. Prince should start in place of Bazemore.

Your memory is very short. Teague struggled with Kyle Korver for a lot of last season. Its not the PGs, its Kyle. Was last year. Is this. Maybe you'll believe me if Delaney was put with Kyle. He'd struggle just like Dennis and Jeff did.
But you're one of the folks that still believes ole' Kyle is the cornerstone for the Hawks offense. Well he shouldn't be. Not anymore.
huh? Kyle has a .64 TS% ..

Hey coach bud! I can fill in for Dwight!

Moose was pretty good tonight. 14 pts 5 rebs 4 dimes and 1 steal. +3 as well.

I think with Muscala rising up to the occasion this year, it made sense to part ways with Edy. He really isn't that good other than his frame.

Maybe the Hawks are taking a page out of the Falcons? Although, the GA dome is never really loud/

Pretty good first period. Moose is terrible though.
I don't think Moose was that bad tbh

How does Channing Frye score 27 points?

I only have a 5'11 wingspan lol.. This is crazy

WAS it a MAX offer? Did Ferry REALLY try and get Dwight?? Im not being sarcastic. I just dont remember Ferry making a SERIOUS effort to get Dwight.
Lastly, next year, ESPECIALLY, will tell the tale with the Hawks because they will have cap and they have a reputation now of being winners.
I Dwight didn't want to come to Atl. Let's face it, a lot of star players avoid us.

Better than overpaying DMC for one playoff series. The name Koncak comes to mind,
You leave Konrad alone!
