  1. Teague needs to learn that Dennis trick of using his left hand to knock the shot blocker's arm away as he is going up with the lay up

Teague just needs to be aggressive and quit playing like a chump.

But that is a nice and crafty move Dennis uses.

He really does struggle against the better Point Guards in the NBA
  3. Am I the only one who notices that when he goes up against PG's with bigger names than him he's nowhere to be found? With the exception of a few games here and there,Teague really doesnt play good when matched up with someone who is better than him.

  4. You were redundant in every area where I listed it above. I don't need to go back through it and list it again since it's still there. Nothing you've said here makes any sense in trying to convince me those aren't athleticism traits and that you duplicated speed / quickness twice and hops twice. The only possible exception is ball handling and that's debatable as Schröder is a terrific ball handler.

No sir but if thats what you want to believe then thats ok as well, there's a difference in everything I said and I even gave examples your wrong,Im right.
  5. No you basically said everything that refers to his athleticism, nothing about the important qualities in a PG / leader. He's faster and quicker than both Dennis and Mack, - athleticismhe has more hops than both, - athleticismslightly better handles than Dennis,a bit more handles than Mack - athleticism and questionable if true, more hops than both of them, - athleticism (repeated)more explosive than both of them, - athleticismbetter slasher than them, - athleticismfaster in the open floor than them, - athleticism (repeated) did I miss anything? - yes you missed the important qualities in a PG / leader

The only thing repeated was hops.Being faster and quicker than them is a valuable trait/ability especially when discussing Point Guards.Handles is not athleticism, ballhandling is a skill and once again very important when dealing with Point Guards.Explosiveness may be apart of athleticism but that doesnt mean its being redundant,Teague is just as fast and quick as Westbrook, but Westbrooks explosiveness sets him apart from Teague and many other Point Guards in the league.Being a good slasher is part athleticism but also skill,Teague is alot quicker than Chris Paul but I think Paul is one of the best penetraiting Point Guards in the leage and he isnt one of the fastest nor quickest but he's smart,so once again your wrong. And open floor speed is athleticism again but it's another valuable trait and different from halfcourt speed and quickness. So where was I redundant at again?
  6. Pretty sure you just said basically the same thing multiple ways. How about instead of unimportant stuff like you mentioned, discuss shooting ability from various areas on the court, ability to defend the opposing PG especially on PnRs, ability to set teammates up for easy baskets, leadership ability on the court, etc etc. I'm pretty sure Teague is far more athletic than Mookie ever was but I'd take Mookie 100 times out of 100 because of many of the reasons I listed above. Now at this point Teague is still the better PG on our roster but 2 years from now I doubt he will be.

No everything I said was different, each one of them are different traits. And I dont think Schröder nor Mack will be better than Teague in two years

  7. Other than being athletic what are Teague's "abilities" again? Certainly not shooting, defense or court vision...

He's faster and quicker than both Dennis and Mack,he has more hops than both, slightly better handles than Dennis, abit more handles than Mack, more hops than both of them, more explosive than oth of them, better slasher than them, faster in the open floor than them, did I miss anything?
  8. Just how do you come to that conclusion? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

3Soon to be 4 MVPs2 Rings2FMVPsBeating Durant for one of those ringsNo debate

If you could start a francise....today...not three years down the line....would you really choose KD over LeBron?? I know I wouldn't. KD doesn't even have a ring yet. There's no debate.

    Thank you
  9. Says who? You? What makes your choice any better then mine , joe blows , or skip bayless?Sorry it is not clear cut as you make it sound

O its very clear cut,Lebron is a better all around player than Durant and clearly turns gears off and on when he chooses look at his play since All-star game dude has tooken it to another level when he clearly was coasting before All-Star.3 soon to be 4 MVPs2rings2FMVPsAnd knocking Durant out of the finals yrs ago
  10. I agree he could put up some monster numbers if he weren't mentally weak. I don't think people realize how much his mind affects his play.

Yea, dude has serious jets in the open floor and excellent agility/quickness in the halfcourt, he can handle the ball and knows how to utilize his speed, its just he's mentally weak.Look at guys who are just as quick and as fast if not faster:John WallTy LawsonTony ParkerEric BledsoeAll these guys keep coming at you no matter what, theyKNOW you cant check them even if you stopped them 6 times in a row.Hell look at Russell Westbrook dudes been out of action for a minute, but came right back instantly with that aggressive basketball that he plays.Teague doesnt have that in him all the time, we see aggressive unstoppable Teague once every 10 games, Im not saying he could be on the level of Westbrook, but no reason why Teague shouldnt be considered a Top 10-15 PG, with his talent and athleticism. But once again if you watched him at Wake you already knew what to expect.

  11. I still think he's a great PG and a good piece to have, maybe not "above average" as this is "the golden age of PG's" and so many teams have their star players in PG roles, so whats "average" these days? His facial expression though and body language sure seems lackluster, but I think thats just how he is as a dude. I dont think he actually is lackluster, but he's not an energizer either, which is a PG quality he doesnt have. Shame he didnt grow up in some Ghetto, learning to have toughness and a mean grim on your face. He looks a like a nice introverted intelligent dude, I wouldnt mind my daughter to show up with. But I think thats just how he is with all the pro's and cons.

Teague's from Indianapolis,Indiana I dont think that's the suburbs, He's from the ghetto, but just because your from the ghetto doesnt automatically make you tough, stereotyping at its finest,no offense taken tho.Because in all honesty the toughest not the best but the toughest basketball players Ive went against were white boys from the burbs, they NEVER back down in basketball. Its all about heart and mental toughness not where your from and Teague just seems to lack that.

  12. Once again Jeff Teague is the type of guy who can make an All-Star team if put in the right situation, nothing stands out about Teague as a PG besides his Speed, quickness and ballhandling.Ido think Teague could average 22&8 if he werent so mentally weak, but if you followed him during his Wake Forest days you wouldnt be suprised with his stretch of good play followed by a stretch of terrible play,he's been like that since college.
