  1. He is a good coach but still needs to learn things..hopefully he will take cavs win into Consideration as how to play players..u got to switch lineups as who they play..I seen him made some stupid decisions...but still a good coach imo

Nope. Not at all. The fact is that Thabo was able to single handedly disrupt Lebron for the entire first half, Kyle starting would have kept him on the bench most of the night.

We were able to stay with Kyrie and JR a lot better than in the past too. Defense set the tone for us for sure. Having Kent guard Lebron instead of Thabo changes the entire dynamic of our defense. You saw the few times Kent was switched on to him Lebron immediately tried to body him up because he simply isn't afraid of Kent. At least he respects Thabos presence

I hope bud is smart enough to stay with that group come playoff time..instead of playing others...that's what makes a good coach..not sure he learns though

Do most of you trust Bud in his development and use of players?  If you do, why don't you believe he could maximize the abilities of a good offensive conplimentary player like Rudy Gay?

At the very least, you're talking about a guy who would be a tremendous 6th man off the bench to provide scoring for the 2nd unit.  Right now though, he'd be the best wing player on the team.

Despite the addition of Dwight and the rookies, the Hawks still don't have a guy who can offensively close out a game or consistently create AND make a shot.

    Rudy can do both.

Let's understand one thing about this team.  Our "window of opportunity" to even remotely be a championship level team, is 3 years ... unless Dennis or one of the rookies rapidly develop into All-Star level talents.

Because in the 19 - 20 season, both Millsap and Howard will be 34 yrs old ... and need new contracts.   They still may be be good big men, but more than likely not All-Star level talents.

Honestly, if the opportunity arose to trade scrubs for an established player like Gay, you do that in a heartbeat.

    I concur

Denis is a common Turkish name. So the whole Muslim theme maybe...kids

And Budenholzer literally means "Stallwooder" or "stall-carpenter" or more translatable: someone who builds stalls on fairs, markets etc.  "Bude" = stall - "Holzer" Wood-er" or carpenter I guess.

And yeah, Bud looks and acts very German too.  Very calm, but u can see Furorus Germanicus lingering somewhere there in his crazy facial expressions sometimes. But it never really takes over...till now.

I just hate buds face expressions...looks like he had a crap pain
