1 hour ago, capstone21 said:That and Thabo's one on one D on Lebron
I totally agree here. Yep Baze and Dennis had big games, but Thabo was excellent on LeBron with very little double team help all game.

Guaranteed win. Why? I am here for work so I will be attending.
I have personally attended 10 Hawks games in my life. In those games (8 in Atlanta, 1 in Sacramento, 1 in New York) the Hawks have won them all. 10-0.
History says we win.

The deal of the day is free* worldwide shipping on hawksshop.com, so if you are an International fan (like me) and have avoided purchasing from hawksshop.com because of obscene shipping charges (like me) then this might be your opportunity.
However, note the asterisk I have put next to "free". Well its not free for Australians and it may also be the case for other countries. I called them up after not being able to get the free shipping option (it was charging me $127 for a few shirts and hats), apparently it is only available if USPS has International First Class to your country. So be aware of this if you go ahead and make sure your shipping is free before proceeding.
Here is the link to the deal...

Good luck!

Thabo being out will really hurt us when DMC sits. LeBron will be close to unstoppable during periods of the series. If we can ride those moments out and minimise the damage, we can win this series. Our bigs will really have a chance to dominate Mozgov and Thompson, as long as they block them out and grab rebounds on the defensive end. Hawks in 6, just having LeBron is good enough for two wins on its own.

Nice! I think that's a fair trade for you to have to put in that type of Wifi system plus running 10's of thousands of feet of ethernet cables and terminating them...
Most definitely plus the airfares! :)
BTW if anyone is looking for Network Engineers in Atlanta then let me know. That's kind of serious. :)

I am a Network Engineer so maybe I could do it. Would only do it during the playoffs so I could be here for them. :))Man Philips needs to get some Wifi up in there! Someone get on the Bat Phone to Koonin and kick the idea over to him.

Thanks for the protip @dolfan. Might not get many more uploaded, the 4G is going bad with more people coming into the arena.

OK, sounds like Taco Mac is a good pre-game hangout. What about post-game? Which bar is the place to hangout afterwards? Where does all the fans go? I'm planning on a good time whilst here.

I cannot answer the OPs question, and don't want to hi-jack, but have a similar question, is there a bar where all the Hawks fans go to after the game, especially on a Friday or Saturday night?

Check out the thread I opened not long ago - http://hawksquawk.net/community/topic/402619-tickets/it has tips for where to get tickets from and where to sit.
I ended up getting tickets in 116 behind the Hawks bench for Brooklyn on Wednesday and then the front couple of rows in 212 for both Portland and Philadelphia on Friday and Saturday.
I fly out tomorrow for Atlanta, a 22 hour trip!

Lately I've put more time into the Squawk being offline...
Shit will happen, what matters is how its handled, and you have been on top of it. Its all good.

Thanks Dolf for all of your own time you put into keeping the Squawk online.

Is section 115 the one behind Bob and Nique? That seems like it would be a cool place to watch the game. What's the best section in the 100's though in your opinion?
I've sat alot in 116 behind hawks bench
I would love to be behind the bench for a game. If I can find an affordable ticket, then I'll jump on it. If not, then probably mid-court in the 200s.

Are you flying from Australia to watch the Hawks?
I'm flying from Australia to California for work, so I'm taking a few days off and extending my trip to Atlanta. That's why I'm going to those specific games because it fits in when I am working in California. I travel once a year to California, but don't usually make the trip to ATL, as its still not that cheap for a couple of games of ball, but I just have to this time around, they are playing way too good to miss.

Hey Rick - I tell everyone I can about this site, but check out SeatGeek. It aggregates tickets from a bunch of different secondary markets and basically assigns a rating based on price and where in the arena the ticket is.
For the Nets game: https://seatgeek.com/nets-at-hawks-tickets/1-28-2015-atlanta-georgia-philips-arena/nba/2284841/
The bigger and darker the green bubble, the better value you are getting for your money!
Wow that looks great, thanks @esimonds03. I will definitely check that out too. Thanks for the tip.
Cheers
