The only thing I have to say about THAT. The "that" applies to the previous sentence, "As for the Duke Lacrosse team." Although, you should have used a comma, the implied statement should be rather obvious to someone out of college and supporting their family. Maybe it wasn't stated explicity, but, come on, your intent was pretty clear, there was nothing general about it. As far as my medication, age, education, experience, family life, and stress: they are none of your business.

Also, time-stamped photos of the girl already beaten up and wasted before she even arrived at the party will also bolster their defense. I don't understand where your future is if you don't ship out Al. The two guys with crazy potential both play the 3. In the East I would like to see one of those guys step up to the 4 and create unbelievable mismatches. Making up for their lack of size with athleticism on D and schooling slower 4's. I really like a Joe Johnson/Salim backcourt for the future. You guys gotta go small and try to run teams, out athlete them, Marvin, J Smith throwin down dunks, Salim and JJ pullin up 3's, and Chill hittin the mid range.

New Orleans is in the Western Conference if I am not mistaken. Atlanta has no shot at the playoffs. Only chance is if package Harrington and Childress/J Smith/Marvin Williams for a bonafide big man.

Carlisle shot back saying that the coaches voted for the All-NBA defensive team, not for DPOY. Carlise noted that Artest got the most votes for the All-NBA defensive first team, 8 more than Bowen i believe. Artest deserved both awards. Bowen is the third cheapest (read: cheater) player I have ever seen. Second to John Stockton and Karl Malone.

I am sorry to state the obvious but NONE of the high school players in this draft will have a huge impact. They will put up ok numbers if they get the PT (drafted by a team with no one, i.e. the Hawks). But Howard is compared to Kwame Brown (4.5 and 3.5). Smith is compared to Mcgrady (7 and 4). Smith will be nowhere near Melo, because Melo WENT TO COLLEGE. Howard will not be as good as Bosh because Bosh WENT TO COLLEGE. Don't get me wrong these guys will succeed but they are not gonna be deserving of all star bids like James and Melo were (should of been selected). They will be your typical unpolished guys coming straight out of high school. So Hawks fans, you may get your superstar in Smith or Howard, but he will not be a star in his first year, wait at least one, most likely two, or even three or four and you will have your superstar.

Sorry for the delay in my 3rd post of all time. I do not make it a priority to habitually check www.hawksquawk.net to see if anyone replies to my messages. As for my "snarky" comments i prefer the terms "intelligent" and "based in fact", but then again, that's just me.

Fitzgerald: Has decent speed, unparalleled hands (once read that he catches bullets (hard thrown passes, for the football ignorant) with one hand without letting them touch the palm of his hand, runs great routes, was only option on a team with a quarterback who could get him the ball, hence the outrageous numbers. lackluster vertical

Roy Williams: athlete, fastest of the three, not much to dislike. Except for the toughness, goes out for a jammed finger, the guy is a girl. Outrageously talented, though.

Mike Williams: Speed similar to Fitzgeralds: "Smith, Williams' trainer, agrees, saying he expects him to vertical jump between 36 and 38 inches and run in the 4.5s." Strength: not to insult the other williams, and fitz, but this guy is a beast. USC was the only school that wanted him as a receiver, all the other schools were looking at a TE. Mikey put up way better numbers than Roy did, no comparison.

My rankings of the big three:

Larry Fitz: comparison Jerry Rice, numbers tell the story.

Mike Williams: comparison: no comparison, he is like a mix of Plaxico Burress, David Boston, Randy Moss and Terrell Owens.

Roy Williams: comparison: Randy Moss, comparison doesnt end on the field, off the field as well, big problem being his lack of toughness, i see fitz and mike as guys who give it all and go ever game no matter what, this isn't so for Roy.

Btw: Mike Williams has better hands than Roy Williams. Watch them both play. Mike Williams catches anything thrown in his general direction. 95 catches, 1314 yrds, 16 tds in a spread offense, also a winner unlike the other two.

Roy Williams: 70 catches, 1079 yrds, dont give me the QB, had only 64 catches the year before. Mike is a possession and deep threat, roy is more deep threat.

I am reading this on March 31st, and unless you are seeing into the future, Mike Williams pro day isn't for another 8 days and no one knows what his 40 yard dash time will be. But, thanks for your "knowledgeable" and insightful reply.
