For some reason, Chris Paul is making me think of Kenny Anderson when he left GT. Does anyone else think the two are similar?

Sagana Diop is in the 4th (option) year of his first round contract. I think that makes him an unrestricted free agent after the end of this season. How about him as a potential center? He couldn't throw a basketball into the ocean if he was standing on the beach, but he has the potential to be a defensive and rebounding monster. I've been looking at the Cavalier's forum over at RealGM. While most Cleveland fans think he was a wasted pick, they also admit he has shown some intensity defending and rebounding. Right now, he is buried on Cleveland's bench behind other big men who have better offensive skills. Other teams may be interested in signing him as a back up center. I know this is a risk, but Diop could probably be signed cheap, he sure won't go for the max.

I've got to come out of lurk mode for this one. If you want to have a strong defensive team, you have got to have strong defensive players at the 4 and 5, it's mandatory. I think when Skita came into the league, he was envisioned as a 7 ft. small forward. We've got a glut of small forwards, and even at the 3, I think Skita would be a defensive liability. Smaller, quicker guys could drive past him with ease if he had to defend out on the perimeter.
