Houston and a few other teams in play for Capela.

Murray to LA is interesting. Not a done deal but there's a lot going on in the background. Multiple other teams still engaged which LA was trying to quelch by going public. They did not want a bidding war.

Hunter was getting looks from a few teams but teams are concerned about his health issues.

Bogie getting tons of interest but no great offers.

OO getting interest but the price is too high.

    Griffin getting a little interest.

    Spurs still in it?

Yes, the interest in Murray around the league as well as the other offers for our other players has increased the value of the trade offers. I can definitely verify that.

I'll add this: if we had our own first rounders there's no question in my mind we would do a complete rebuild in the offseason. We do not have our first rounders so I don't see that happening. Unless we trade with the Spurs and get those picks back I just do not see it happening.

So this post here you’re basically saying that the Spurs AREN’T one of the teams you’re hearing that has a trade offer for us… is that correct? They’re not currently in the picture?

There is no up their offers. Atlanta wants a legit all star. Those teams want more than raw player with a lot of potential or a young solid role player for their all star.

Any news around the NBA? This is turning into one big snooze fest.

    Latest Hawks Update Only:

    JC off the market.

Cam and Kevin are the names teams have called about the most and the Hawks have no had any interest in moving them. Kevin in particular is getting a ton of calls. Atlanta really doesn't have interest in trading either player.

My guy was wrong about Bogi. While Atlanta is listening on calls, Bogi had interest in seeing what's available as he did not like his role. I think campster talked about this. But he's seemed to be one that likes things now and wants to stay. Bogi's offers have been, well underwhelming.

Tony Snell is the most likely to be moved because he's shooting lights out as a rotational 3&D wing and teams are interested in him a lot. Atlanta is leaning towards keeping him at this time.

Four names have been mentioned by him that Atlanta had interest within a reasonable price: DeMar DeRozan, Otto Porter Jr, Doug McDermott, and Hawks legend, Paul Millsap. These are four guys Atlanta has shown interest too but their willingness to trade anything more Snell has been slim to none. The reason why Snell has been a key mention is because of the obvious, he doesn't fit into their future plans. The options are very limited for the Hawks and it's unlikely we see any moves. Bogi as I mentioned early wants to stay. He's going to be here for awhile. There is a chance he might be moved in the offseason if teams need a starting SG and they are willing to pay what Atlanta finds suitable.

The only rumor I've heard is Whiteside for Bruno 2nd rounder that might happen.

Yikes! Gonna be a boring night and day tomorrow. Thanks, Supes.

  5. I was thinking about the DeMar rumor again and I wonder if the Hornets would be willing to part with PJ Washington (along with Scary Terry to make the contracts fit) for him. I am aware the price is low for DeMar but surely the Spurs don't want to keep adding to the group of guards they already have, which is what will happen if the trade consists of Terry and Malik Monk. That is a crap load of guards.

There is no rumor of Bogi being traded for DeRozan. I was just saying, that would make sense based on the price SA is demanding.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Guess the only link we have from ATL is that they inquired about him - nothing else.

A DeMar trade to the Hornets seems more likely than with ATL from based on what you wrote.

Toronto might not have one of these key guys past Wednesday.

    FVV

    Siakam

    Lowry

    Powell could be all gone.

Clippers don't have much to offer but they are being extremely aggressive trying to land a PG.

Siakam was fined by the Raptors just now for a "verbal altercation" with his coach. $50k.

Note: If Atlanta trades Bogi and Snell for DeRozan. Atlanta work to resign DeRozan

Thanks. This one doesn't work in the trade machine though. Salaries don't match. Atlanta has to add a couple more pieces to make the contracts work.

    Small Update:

There will be a number of moves made. It's highly unlikely the Hawks are involved unless their price tags are being met.

Expect Oladipo, DeRozan, A. Gordon, and Kyle Lowry to be moved.

Price is Right only guys: Norman Powell, JC, and Lonzo Ball. Otherwise expect them to stay with their teams.

Pay salt to trade ideas with Kevin or Cam in it.

While Atlanta has been talking to NO about trades. He confirmed the only one where they made progress is: Tony Snell has been mentioned a lot. There has been some serious talk about Snell and minor pieces (Brandon or Bruno) being traded for Bledsoe. There is also interest in J.J. Redick as well. He mentioned, other have mentioned Zo and Reddish to him but no one from Atlanta side or from NO side has mentioned any offer from Atlanta for Ball. LAC and CHI have made offers but NO is locked in to what they are looking for if they are moving Ball. Cam will appeal to NO if offered which is seemingly what NO might be trying to drum up with no real interest from Atlanta side. He said, teams are pretty far from what NO is looking for in return for a Ball trade. He doesn't think Ball will be moved.

Rondo name has disappeared from all talks.

Bogi name in talks is hilarious. The offers are beyond disgusting.

Tony Snell seems to be the one player who could be moved who has positive value. Brandon and Bruno do not have positive value.

    Hi Supes,

I'm surprised by the DeMar mention. Aren't the Spurs trying to make the playoffs and isn't he a big part of that? What would the return look like or which teams did you hear were interested? Thanks.
