Dre just needs to get healthy and play like he did when healthy earlier this season. If there is a strong trade great but he isn't a problem when healthy.
He will never be healthy.

Onyeka, Capela, and Bey need to go. We need to give other players a shot.. the Vucevics, Nurkics, etc. of the league. Keep Murray unless he can be used to get a stud frontcourt.
I'm very disappointed in OO after he got the extension.. I expected a big jump but it's regression: https://www.espn.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/4431680/onyeka-okongwu
Our frontcourt is the the weakness on this team.
Dre needs to go also

We'd have to get back all our picks plus some Spurs picks and players for Trae. That trade would demolish the fanbase for the Hawks. You are talking about years of being a lottery team hoping to find another Trae.
It's over in 2 years...no way Trae is signing back

As I've said eariler, all these trades are bad. All of them. And I heard the ones for Clint and Dre. Those are bad too. Bey is the only one I've heard deals that make some sense for us.
Let's get rid of our junk first and then start with djm..don't make bad trades just to make

If I can make one request...please don't get upset with the "insiders" for sharing these rumors/rumblings whatever you want to call it. We are just the messengers here. As a fan I am horrified at some of the packages being offered to the Hawks for our players.

Already gave up on this team when it came out the only reason they traded Huerter was to not pay a little luxury tax. Told me all I needed to know about this ownership group and front office.
He had 31 last night

Grimes put up the points last night

Im telling you guys literally what every agent and team is saying. CLINT HAS ZERO VALUE. A rim running center with awful touch who has lost a step defensively is not a good player. He is productive off Trae Young and not every team has a guy like that to make him good. He doesn't even catch lobs anymore.
Him being productive doesn't mean shit. He is not good and nobody values him like that. Stop using what you guys think a players value should be for what is actually being discussed. He is not valued by any team in the league. Zero
Clint is a great guy for backup...but we have no other center
1 minute ago, Mikey said:An overpaid wing that hasn't stayed healthy once in his career has a value of two unprotected firsts in your mind? You guys are asking to be disappointed in these trades with these crazy valuations
He is the first piece that needs to be traded

And listening to these sorry azz rumors is enough to storm the...I mean send an angry letter. If this FO engages in any of the proposed dookie trades, they should be fired. Pitchforks my arse, I'm talking heavy artillery!
It's the Hawks fault the fans are expecting doom. So get on the d@mn train and be pre-emptive. When they exhibit a mere bit of competence like Jaybird said...I'll whine about something else.
We know how the Hawks organization is

Djm is signed on a good deal..keep him and move other pieces and go from there

It's make it or break it...I wait if no good deals come up..no way I would trade to NY or Lakers..go after someone even if it LaVine..gotta do something or this fanbase will leave and I'm one of them..it's like we just end up helping all these other teams but and we always end up getting lowballed..F this Fo if they don't hold tight

I seriously question how much value you guys think DJM is worth. In what world is 3 assets in grimes and two firsts a bad package. You are not getting a better player than Murray back in a Murray deal. They aren't trying to win this season...stop trying to make trades with that objective in mind
There not going to win this season...I'd wait v4 trading to NY..find something else

I still can't get over Rick Kamla hosting nbaradio, absolutely ripping the Hawks organization for looking to trade Murray "because they're too cheap to re-sign him".
Guy had no clue Murray's already re-signed.
Those are your eggsperts, folx.
Don't need to trade him but we prolly will..like to make some other moves first if possible

If you find a good deal before the trade deadline then trade. If you don't get a good deal, don't just take the best currently available. There is no rush on DM. If you are going to "desperation" trade someone make it someone other than him. But maybe you need to be willing to hold your cards and not take any terrible trades just to send a message that the dump trades are done. (In which case, we may end up letting Bey walk but I'd rather have that than taking bad deals just to do something because I think that leads to a very ugly situation in place for the next 5 years.)

I'd just hold on until next year trading djm

I don’t think Trae leaving is a forgone conclusion at all. But the FO needs to get their **** together.
Just wait..he be gone..he ain't staying here unless we get players

I'm going to come back to your overall point in a second, but wanted to push on this specific point...
So you're saying that if Dikembe Mutombo in his prime were on our team that he wouldn't work? A lot of people down on Clint because he's 6'10 and doesn't shoot from outside. I don't think that's the problem. You're right that our overall construct needs a lot of tuning. I don't know if it's coarse tuning or fine tuning, but it's tuning. What I can't agree with is that Clint is a problem. I think Clint solves way more problems than he causes. He misses the occasional bunny.. but he has one of the highest FG% and True FG% in the league. He is a top 10 rebounder and I think he's still top 15 in bpg. He has even improved his FT% by a lot. He's not an issue.
Or major issues are 3 and 4.
Clint is fine..but I still like to have a center that can atleast shoot 16 footers and spread the floor more..he is the only center we have.
