  1. He hasnt been released or anything has he?

He was a solid backup for the Clippers, and actually ended up starting several games for them. I dont see them giving up on him anytime soon.

  2. Fantastic movie! Probably one of the best "horror" movies I've seen in a long time. Though I saw the euro ending, which is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the US release's ending, IMO.

Yes - I've seen both endings and have to say that I agree.

There is a Descent 2 coming out in September I believe. It's supposed to pick up right where the last one left off.

    cant wait.

  3. I have a request!

    actually, requestS...

more stuff with Harry the Hawk!!!

    T-shirts, replica Harry jerseys, 8x10's!

I think kids would love wearing a Harry t-shirt!

Also, Lanyards.... I've waited years for the team gear store to get lanyards...but havnt had any luck yet.

I've got a ton more ideas too!

  4. or bluray yet? The graphic novel is one of my favorite books and I thought the theatrical release was decent (though I don't understand why they changed the ending). I hope to pick up the DVD later this week but wondered if anyone really likes the DVD or bluray and what special features were included.

I got the blu-ray on tuesday, but I haven't opened it yet.

  5. You didnt like the new TCM's???

I actually thought they were really well done!

I also really liked the new Halloween. I thought Rob Zombie did a good job reinventing the series.

H2 comes out in August if memory serves, and it was filmed in Atlanta!

I'm really looking foward to the new Elm Street. Freddy was always my favorite.

  6. I absolutely hated the movie.

While I loved the casting, the characters were under-written, and as you said, under-developed.

If you're gonna cast Bale and Depp, dont slap us in the face with crappy writing.

The movie was beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing throughout, and i enjoyed the soundtrack, but the audio was very poor.

The studio even sent out a letter to theaters requesting they raise the volume a whole 30% (which by theatre standards is extreme).

Also - I thought there were WAYYYYY too many characters in this movie. I guess they decided to go the buffet route: quantity over quality.

    SPOILER (kind of)

Everyone knows the story, Dillinger dies...but when it happens in this movie, you dont care. it's not bothersome when the main character

of the movie dies, simply because you do not develop an attachment to him over the course of the movie.

    That's a problem.

I've never been a Michael Mann fan, and my dislike is even stronger now

  7. I'm a big Lost fan - You'd definitely have to start from season 1 if you wanted to pick it up though.

I love The Office, and I just finished season 1 of TrueBlood (it's a good show, but overrated might be a good word for it too).

I also just finished the Deadwood series - which I thought was great (kept be begging for more after the series ended!)

I recently finished the Sopranos series, and thought it was the greatest series I've ever seen.

So if I had to recommend anything, and you haven't seen it yet, The Sopranos is spectacular.

  8. I bought a red Dodge Magnum in late December and LOVE it.

    dc_08magnum_frt.jpg

08 was the last year they made it though, what a shame!

    They are amazing!

If you can find one out there, I've seen some pretty good deals on low-mileage used ones.

  9. Brilliant post. :)

I thought it was a fantastic article. Working in professional sports, I find it very interesting to see who ranks where in fan relations, stadium experience, etc. In every sports town, there are a LOT of people who work for the franchises -- As such, an article like this gives people within the business ( YES...it's a business) a look at just how they measure up with their work performance.

I say kudos to the article.

The post is far from brilliant, it's the article that's the real winner.

  10. You have these superstars (lebron, Kobe, Garnett, etc) trying to talk free agents into coming to their teams for less money. My thing is that they got their fat contracts so it easy for Lebron to tell Ron Artest to take less money to be a cavalier. Have these superstars ever thought about taking less money just to they can have a better team. Then they get mad when the GM/owner is not willing to go into the luxury tax. The only superstar I ever heard of who took less money to make the team better was Tim Duncan. That is why the Spurs seemingly can go out every season and get the player that they want. Kobe is going to be crying a fit when Odom leaves so he can get paid. Know I want to see JJ pull a Tim Duncan when his time comes! How can a guy break the bank with his contract and then whine about needing help!!

Shaq did it in Miami. Miami won a title.

  11. best piece of advice I have is get there early - I believe the tickets are in designated sections, but it's general admission within that section. The earlier you are, the closer you'll sit.

Also, remember - alot of the guys there trying to get drafted are everyday jo's like you or me - only, they're taller. So you may bump into a few of them as people are getting their seats!

  12. Sekou is usually not this pessimistic. Wonder if he knows more or its speculation?

HAHAHA, if you look to the left of Bibby's shorts in the pic on Sekou's blog, you can see me with my hand in the air yelling.

    I love that pic.

  13. Per realgm.com. Now thats a guy we can use off the bench for some post scoring. Should be able to sign him pretty cheap too. Maybe after all the real work Sund has to do with the roster is done we cn bring him in for a workout to see if this is true. The guy can score in the post, just keep him away from the 3 point line.

God it pained me to see him in a Hawks jersey chucking the ball every few seconds.

BUT, if he's figured out how to calm down, and realized he's not a #1, #2, or even #3 scoring option, I'd be up for it.
